ALI'S POV

I have been married to Bruno for 5 years now and everything is perfect. I woke up feeling really sick and dizzy, so I got up and ran to the bathroom to throw up. I suddenly felt a hand on my back and I immediately knew it was Bruno.

B: "Mi amor, are you alright?"
Al: "Yes, Mi vida.... I just feel like rubbish."
B: "I'll go speak to Julieta and get you some arepas."
Al: "Thank you, amor."

Bruno left the bathroom, leaving me to be sick over the toilet. After a while, I heard footsteps running towards me. Suddenly, a very excited Julieta and Pepa ran through the door. Passing me a box.

Al: "What is this? And why are you keeping my husband locked out of his own bedroom?"
J: "Hunny, that's a pregnancy test."
P: "And we are keeping him outside, just in case you know.... Your pregnant."

I laughed a little bit before throwing up again. I then turned to see both Julieta and Pepa with very serious faces.

Al: "Fine.... But I'm probably not even pregnant. Me and Bruno are always careful."
P: "That's not what it sounds like..."

Julieta and Pepa both burst out laughing. I slammed the bathroom door and started taking the test out the box.

J: "Hey! At least if you are pregnant, we will be pregnant together!"
Al: "Firstly, I swear, I AM NOT PREGNANT! And secondly, your already 5 months along. We would be pregnant together for the whole time, like you and Pepa!"
P: "JUST HURRY! KEEPING YOUR HUSBAND OUTSIDE IS GETTING HARDER!"
Al: "Alright! I'm done."

I opened the door and left the pregnancy test facing downwards in my hand. Me, Julieta and Pepa all stood around staring at it. Somehow, Pepa had managed to lock the bedroom door.

Al: "How long do we need to wait?"
J: "Another minute should do."

We waited for another minute. I took a deep breath and flipped it over. Before I looked at it I said....

Al: "Plus, I don't even think I can get pregnant. Me and Bruno have been trying since we got mar-!"

I looked at the test. PREGNANT. I slowly looked up at Pepa and Julieta. After a minute of looking at each other, we began jumping and screaming around the room.

Al: "AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"
P: "I KNEW IT! YOUR PRE-!"

Julieta covered Pepas mouth and pointed to the door. We all agreed that I would announce it at dinner tonight. I went to the bathroom and finished my makeup and changing my clothes.

I opened the door to see a very concerned Bruno.

B: "WHATS THE MATTER?! ARE YOU OKAY?! WHY WERE YOU SCREAMING?!"
J: "Nothing Bruno, we wanted to make sure she was okay without you butting your head in and the screaming was me telling them the baby name I chose, which is Luisa!"

Bruno just smiled and gave Julieta a hug, while me and Pepa were trying to hold back our 'aws'. Eventually everyone had gone to do their chores and I went to help around the village aswell.

AT DINNER

We all sat around the table. Abuela said her speech then we all proceed to eat. Pepa and Julieta kept nudging my legs under the table and giving me 'THE' look.

B: "OW! Pepa! Why'd you kick me?"
P: "You have something you want to announce, right? Ali?"

Everyone stared at me and my palms began to sweat. I stood up and wiped my hands on my dress before putting them together on my stomache.

Al: "I'm pregnant..... surprise!"
Ab: "Lovely! More generations for La Familia Madrigal! I'm very happy, Ali! And congratulations my Brunito."

I sat back down and everyone congratulated me and Bruno. I turned to look at Bruno, who was staring right at me with his mouth slightly gaped open.

B: "R-Really? Y-Your actually pregnant?"
Al: "Yes, Mi amor! I'm actually pregnant!"

I took his hand and pulled the pregnancy test out of my pocket and placed it in his hand. He stared at the test with his mouth even more gaped open than before. He then put the pregnancy test in his pocket, grabbed my face and kissed me. I kissed him back. It was long and passionate. He then pulled away with tears in his eyes.

B: "I'm so happy, Mi amor! I've never been happier! Well, other than our marriage day and the day we started dating and the day we me-!"
Al: "Bruno.... I get it. Your happy! So am I!"

After dinner, me and Bruno went straight up to our room. He had a door at the bottem of his stairs that lead to our bedroom. He sat on the bed and pulled me into his lap.

B: "You will never understand how happy I am right now."
Al: "I think I do, Bruno. I'm just as happy as you are."
B: "Well, I think we should get some rest."

We both agreed and went to bed.
