Bakugo's letter pierces your heart. You don't know how to feel about it so you just rip it in half, pretending you never saw it. You threw the note across the room, not wanting to deal with it right now. He doesn't actually care, you thought, someone probably just told him to say that.

**Back in Bakugo's room before the letter**

Bakugo was pacing the perimeter of his room, trying to understand why you were so upset. He knew what he did was wrong but there was no reason for you to be crying like that. ALl he did was set off an explosion, if you couldn't handle that then how could you possibly save people? She's just a wimp, she'll never become a hero if she cries like that. Bakugo continued to think like this, never once saying that you could become a hero. He heard a knock on the door, it was soft but he could tell that it was urgent.

"Go away," he hissed. However, the knocking didn't stop. It grew in volume even though it was only three short bursts. "Whoever it is just fuck off alright? Can't you tell I don't want you in here?" He practically yelled that last sentence.

"Bakugo just let me in." It was Kirishima, his voice, sounding urgent, made the blond want to run to the door and let him in, worried something bad had happened to Y/n. He walked to the door, opening it just a crack.

"What do you want Kirishima," he spoke with a slight growl. Kirishima put his hands up, trying to calm him down.

"Dude I just wanted to ask how you were doing," his voice had a slight hesitation, worried Bakugo just might blow him up. "I assumed it was hard to see her like that, I mean, knowing what you go through." Kirishima motioned to his ears, referring to the hearing aids.

Bakugo let out a 'tsk', immediately turning his back towards the redhead. "I'm fine. There's no need for you to come barging in my room to check on me when you obviously care for her more than you do me."

"What do you mean?" Kiri was shocked at the accusation. He cared for Bakugo, he was his best friend but at this moment he didn't feel like it.

"What were you guys even talking about on the roof then? It's Y/n's first day here and you're already rushing to help her. She's never going to get stronger if she has someone constantly around her." Bakugo looked pissed not understanding why his friend(?) would leave his side for someone that's new.

"I can't tell you what we were talking about," Kiri's face hung low, "It's not my place to share was she told me with confidence." Bakugo turned around quickly, creating little sparks in his palms. "Woah dude, back off dang. Try and gain her trust. I know you might kill me for what I'm about to say but I could care less. You have a slight sort of care for her. Whether or not that's just about wanting to beat her or something else, you have to man up to your feelings." Bakugo was stunned that Kiri just called him out. What the fuck, he thought, no one, other than Y/n, has tried to say anything like that to me.

"You have no idea what you're talking about," his voice was raspy, honestly, he felt like crying. "I don't care for her. I don't even know her. Hell, she probably hates me by down." A sudden ringing came to his ears and he immediately pulled his hearing aids out. "I had the fucking volume too loud."

"Bakugo," Kiri moved his hand in front of his face to get his attention. "I know you don't want anyone else to have to," he paused for a moment, thinking of how to sign the word, "go through what you're going through. Don't let yourself be the reason Y/n has to manage the ringing." Kiri's signing was sloppy but Bakugo got the main point of what he wanted to say.

"Fine," Bakugo said, a slight lisp in his voice, "I'll do what I can. Just give me some space damn." With that, Kiri nodded and walked out of his room, closing the door quietly to make sure he didn't his friend angrier than he already was. Bakugo immediately layed on his bed, fingers interlinked behind his head. "What the hell am I supposed to do." Remembering Aizawa said your room was next to yours he decided to write a letter, hoping you would at least talk to him. Even if it was anger towards him. The only reason he was doing this was so Kiri would leave him alone. He knew that Kiri was right. He didn't want anyone else having to deal with hearing aids and everything that comes with it. He remembered the first time his ears bled. He was only 8. He was so scared but he ended up keeping it a secret so he didn't seem weak.
