We walked on for what seemed like hours. As tierd and wore down I was, I still had to keep pushing through.
" Jess, wait! Please!" Feeling a tug on my arm, I spun around fast. I could feel my energy changing my mood my eyes everything.  I just was done, I snapped.
" Why? I got kicked out of the house I grew up in. I lost my family how is this ok? How is this right? Let me tell you simon, its not.  Honestly I would rather have died and accepted it then lose my family. What do i do now?"
Without a thought he wrapped me in his arms, not a single word was said as we just stood there in silence.  Every bad though or feeling drifting out of me like a bad dream.  In his arms I felt safe and since I was turned I had more confidence in myself then I ever did when I was alive.
He pulled away from me as he took a few paces forward.  The air around us started to blow more wildly.  Simon started at me his eyes holding the hurt in his soul. I could tell because it was as if his pain reflected off him and landed on me.
" Losing your family is hard jess. I know the feeling its like a hole in your heart you can not replace. Nothing is going to make up for you losing your family.  But I will not apologize for saving you. In fact, I would do it over and over again." By the time he finished talking it was more like shouting.
" Simon, what do we do now then? Because I'm at a loss all we know is im a vampire you turned me when you are not on the council. That leaves you on a death sentence.  I'm worried about you! " Simon's touch as soft as silk on my skin. His voice leaving me speechless.
" There is a way to save me. Either I go on the council I hate to say that. It would be easier to avoid them. Second option, marry you. Which I understand that u are not ready and I will not have you marry me if you do not wish it. Or....death." The word he said slid off his tongue like silk. Like the way he talked about it did not frighten him but we both know better. It terrified him as well as me.
" What would you have to do to be on the council? How does that work? " sighing, he replied.  " Its all about the votes you need 4 votes to be considered on the council and even that is hard.  To get votes you have to have people that respect you. And know you.  Make flyers and speeches that kind of thing. "
Simon just stopped talking, like his mind was else where.
" Simon, can I ask you a question?" His eyes traveled my way.  His stare went right through me. His eyes gleaming in the moonlight. With the way it felt right now it felt like around midnight. A few more hours and the sun would light the sky we needed a place to go. I was willing to go back to my dad's place. But then again maybe not.
" Simon, marry me please! Its the only way to save you." I asked my eyes turning a red haze.  Touching his face with my hand, he let out a small moan.  " Jess, I can not. I dont want to marry you out of pity. I want to marry you out of love. " That is what we have I know it in my heart and so do you. "
As my lips pressed up against his, and our breaths matching each other the passion was there. Every tough electrifying. It was pure pleasure.  Pulling away fast, I replied.
" I dont marry you out of pity I marry you out of love.  The day I was suppose to die. It was also my birthday and seeing as how i have no more I am officially eighteen. I'm an adult its my choice as long as you are on board. "
His smile would light up the whole room. The first time he did since the whole thing started. A true real smile. And it was wonderful. But the happiness would have to wait as I then said.
" Lets go, the sun will be up soon I can feel it. "
Simon looked up at me confused, " Where are we to go? "
Putting a small smile on my face, I replied.
" To pay dad a visit!"
