A New Friend

"Why are you doing this to me Dream?"

He ignored Y/N.

"Dream."

He ignored.

"Hey."

He ignored.

"Dream."

Dream got annoyed, "Oh my XD, do you ever stop talking?" he yelled loudly.

"I'll stop talking if you answer my questions."

Dream groaned, "Fine. I'm doing this because I like power. Not that you'd understand that, I mean you did lose your wings not once, but twice now."

"You are the reason why I lost my wings Dream," Y/N shouted.

"Eh, okay that's fair but that goes to show how much power I have."

"Not really, it just says how desperate I was to fly again. Some could say it makes you manipulative and stupid."

"What, no I'm not-" he stopped, "Shut up."

Y/N laughed to annoy him, "Dream is dumb. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb."

He started to get aggravated, "Shut it. We're almost there anyway."

Y/N panicked, "What are we doing at his house? Why here? I don't understand what he has to do with any of this. Wait- don't tell me he was in on this since the beginning," they were nervous.

Dream rolled his eyes, "I told you we have someone to meet up with." He knocked at the door. "Stay here," he said to Y/N.

Y/N scoffed, "Not like I could leave if I wanted to."

Dream knocked on the door again, now getting impatient. From the inside of the house, a man shouted, "Who is it?"

"It's the tooth fairy here to give you all the money I never gave you for your teeth, who do you think it is?" Dream yelled back.

The man got up and opened the door, "Sorry Dream, you can never trust people these days," he said paranoid while shaking Dream's hand. 

"No kidding," Y/N said.

"Oh, is that Y/N with you? What are you even doing here, is everything okay?" the man asked.

"Yes, everything's okay, I just need a favor. Y/N go stand over there while Sapnap and I talk," Dream said.

"No," Y/N said as they walked exactly to where Dream pointed. As Y/N walked away they looked at Sapnap with pleading eyes, hoping he would pick up on it.

Sapnap watched Y/N walk off to the side, "Wha-" he was very confused, "Okay? What did you need?"

Dream smiled, trying to come off as charming, "Y/N needs a place to stay for a few days and they can not stay with me," he said firmly, "Can they stay with you?"

"Dream-"

"I know, I know, you don't trust people but this is for me. Come one, please. Just this once."

"Yeah sure, whatever, what's going on? Why do they need a place to stay?" Sapnap asked.

"They had a fight with uh- with Phil. They took off to find me for help, the poor thing just needs somewhere to stay," Dream studdered over his words trying to come up with a story.

"Oh XD, yeah, please, bring them in," Sapnap said knowing something was off about the way Dream was studdering and the way Y/N was acting almost animal-like listening to Dream command them around.

Dream walked over towards Y/N and whispered, "You stay quiet or your family suffers the consequences, understand?"

"Yes Dream," Y/N gulped.
