(Foul language in all chapters along with crude humor from some of the characters.)
"How long ago did you guys start the Rose corp.?" Moon didn't look up from her phone, "I don't know, I'm bad with time." Zayla, the one who asked, pouted and turned to the other girl,
"Dar' do you have any idea?" Darla also didn't look up from her book similar to Moon, "About three years I believe."
"So three years ago you and Moon started this group of misfits?" Darla nodded still reading as Zayla walked to the table where the two were sitting, well more floated than walking. Nicholas and Victoria, the twins had just woken up and walked down the stairwell into the living room.
"Hey bitches, and bros, and non-binary hoes!" Victoria shouted from the stairs earning a glare from Moon.
"It's too early for yelling Vic," Moon said in an annoyed tone while Victoria shrugged, "Too bad , so sad."
Zayla laughed as Nickolas, Victoria's twin brother, hit her on the head,
"Shut up nobody asked." Victoria gave a dramatic scoff before falling back onto the couch,
"You're so rude Nick!"
"And last I checked I didn't care." Nickolas was always short tempered in the mornings that is until he had some sort of caffeinated drink. This group of anomalies was called the Rose corporation, they were a group of supernatural beings that didn't fit in human society. So they all seeked refuge in the places where humanity didn't dare to tread, such as haunted forests.
The people in the group couldn't be any more different. This group had anything from ghosts to hybrids. We'll go down the list, first Victoria, a tall spirit that had short brown hair and bright blue eyes. She had died at the age of 26 and had been a spirit for 4 years making her 30 years old overall. Then we have her twin brother Nickolas, a short man with also short hair paired with a pair of green eyes usually brought out by the eyeliner he wears. While he is not dead he shares his body with a demon and does several different types of witchcraft. Next we come to Zayla, a tall, bubbly, big haired girl with darker colored skin and blood red eyes. She was an A.I also known as artificial intelligence. To put it simply she's a robot.
Lastly we come to the two leaders of the group, Moon and Darla. Moon had mid length, black hair with piercing yellow eyes. After she had died, at age 16, she traveled through different electronics making her a highly intelligent spirit for about 13 to 14 years, she lost count. Darla wasn't dead but nor was she alive, she had both brown hair and eyes. Though nobody knows Darla seems to only get hurt by supernatural attacks though she isn't dead. So as I had said we have everything from demons to whatever Darla is.
Nickolas had gone to the kitchen to boil water,
"Nickyyyyyyy, why are you so grumpy?" Zayla winged floating behind him,
"Cause I'm tired,"
"Nightmares?" Darla asked not even looking away from her book. Nickolas sighed, "Yeah same story, falling into a burning pit." Zayla pouted,
"Still they aren't real! So they can't hurt you," Since Zayla was A.I She didn't understand how humans worked nor how emotions affect them.
"Doesn't work like that Zayla the demons in your head can be your worst enemy." The kettle had come to a boil as Nickolas finished making his tea leaving Zayla confused.
Moon sighed,
"Zayla, some people fear things that don't exist and that cause stress and anxiety for that person." Zayla looked to Moon still pouting,
"Since when did you know so much?" She shrugged,
" I just really like psychology," Zayla slumped into one of the chairs at the dining table, "Really? I didn't notice." Zayla always got upset whenever she didn't understand something which was a chore for the others at times. Moon looked at her phone and noticed the battery was almost dead,
"Shit, I'll be right back. I forgot to charge my phone last night." Darla nodded, finally looking up from her book,
"Alright don't die," Moon laughed and walked to the stairs. Zayla gave Darla a knowing look,
"You shut the fuck up blondie."
Moon walked to the stairs phone in hand till she saw a mirror. The last she remembered they never had a mirror by the stairs, from where she was none of the others could see her. The mirror looked like something you would find in Zaylas room, A golden frame with an elegant design and spotless glass. Though when she looked in it the reflection was foggy and instead of black her hair showed up white. In shock she dropped her phone and reached out to touch the glass. When her fingers barely brushed the glass she was brought into a room, if you could call it that.
All the walls were midnight black causing the walls to melt together except for one wall which had a large panel of glass on it. Still in shock she stumbled back and tripped over something quite large. She tumbled back,
"Ow! What the fuck..?" That wasn't her voice. Her head shot up eyes wide, there was a boy with silver hair and entirely gold eyes. The boy looked across from himself and saw Moon and had a similar reaction.
"Did you come from the real world?!" Moon jumped at the sudden shrillness of his voice. "Yep I did, where am I exactly?"
He cleared his throat,
"I'm sorry how rude of me, I'm Andrew, and you're inside of a mirror." Her heart sank, "Inside the mirror.. Wait, I have to warn them!" She searched for her phone but remembered she had dropped it out of shock earlier.
"Ahh! Fuck!" she put her head in her hands groaning.
"So I'm guessing you don't know how to get out?" Andrew shook his head,
"Not a clue, I was hoping you would." They were stuck with no way to contact anybody and no way out. Moon looked at the large panel of glass which was foggy but still reflected them. This will be an adventure.
