This is my take on Anupama's confession.

He hadn't come here to do this. No. He had already exchanged verbal blows with Paritosh and he was so done with this circus.

Pinching the bridge of his nose to soothe his rising temper,Anuj cleared his throat and tried to make his point, yet again. "Baa main bas—

"Kya bas, huh!?" Baa cut him off, her tone scathing as she accused Anuj, "Tu thehra amrika ka, waha chalta hoga ye sab par hamare yahan ye sab nahi chalega! Tu kyun reh raha hai Anupama ke saath?! Sharam, lihaaz hai ki nahi!"

This was precisely what he had come to clarify. He was tempted to shoot down baa and her allegations, but Anu cared too much about her and so, he simply wished to tell her, that he was going to move out today itself, so she should just stop making remarks at Anu.

'But guess what...'Anuj could tell from her stance that Mr. Shah had already manipulated his mother, who never doubted her son's intentions, ever.

"Pyaar hai toh shaadi kyun nahi kar leta. Bina shaadi ka pyaar, besharmi hai!"

Anuj pressed his mouth and turned away, the nerves on his neck stringing taut.

"Baa...I request you....mere pyaar ki insult mat kijiye..." his low voice carried a hint of warning, that baa failed to detect.

"Beizzati toh tum dono khud kar rahe ho", she continued with her poisonous words. "Ye...wo...live in wagerah hamare yahan nahi chalta. Bina shaadi ke wo sab karna....aiyasshi hai.Tu aur Anupama paap kar rahe ho".

"Baa....please!" Anuj raised his forefinger then, folding it back into fist as he slapped his hands together and cleared his throat, his voice thick with barely constrained anger.

"Aap atleast Anu par toh bharosa kar sakti hain na".

Baa turned her face away at this, while Anuj just shook his head. To think he had dared to treat her as his own. Jab wo Anu ki nahin ho pai toh kisi aur ki kya hi hongi.

"Afsos iss baat ka hai baa, ki duniya ka har riwaz bas Anuke liye hai...kyuki usne himmat dikhai aapke uss bête ko chhodne ki, jiske maathe par shikan tak nahi aayi jab wo uske saath dhokha kar raha tha".

"Sahi hai tumhara!" A familiar voice boomed and Anuj pressed his eyes briefly before opening them to look at 'the vanraj shah'. His eyes flickered to his sister too, who refused to meet his gaze.

Now it was a full house!

"Tum apne actions ko justify karne ke liye mera hi example kyun dete ho?" Vanraj asked with his condescending smile.

"Tum apni ghatiya soch ka shikar hamesha mujhe aur Anu ko hi kyun banate ho?" Anuj cross questioned, his brow raised as he awaited his response.

"Ghatiya soch?" Vanraj had the audacity to look thrilled ashe continued, "Mukku ka mujhe pasand karna galat, hum dono ka partners hona galat par agar tum aur tumhari Anu live in main rahein toh bhi tum log sahi?!"

"Main tumhe safai doon, aaj bhi tumhari itni aukaat nahi hai, Vanraj", Anuj remarked as he took a menacing step forward and leveled the man with reproach filledgaze, the kind that infuriated vanraj and made him feel like an insect, not even worth a response.

But before vanraj could retort, Baa beat him to it and spilled forth words that, in an instant tore through Anuj's strength.

"Tu aukaat ki baat karega?! Arre Anath hai tu. Kismat achi thi teri jo mukku ke maa baap ne tujhe godh liya, varna tum jaise bache aksar sadak ke kinare bheek—
