Ash has already sent out his Starly and Paul did the same ; he also bring Starly out. "Starly I choose you" Ash said "Starly stand by! I choose you" Paul said in demanding tone. "Well this will be interesting....a battle between two Starly's" I said in amazement. "Ok Ash I'll let you go first " Paul said "Ok Starly use quick attack" Ash said and Starly used that move but Paul's Starly just dodge the attacks but gets a little damage.
' fast huh ' I thought myself and quitely watching the battle.
"It's a hit!" Dawn said "It's true but didn't did much damage" prof. Rowan said her "I think Paul is just testing Ash Starly's attack power " I said Dawn but she looks confused....well how can she even understand this after all she is a new trainer. "Starly use aerial ace " Paul shouted and Starly used the attack making a medium amount of damage to Ash's Starly. "Starly use wing attack go" "Use double team!" Paul said and his Starly used the move to confuse the other one. "Starly the real one is behind you dodge it now " Ash said but it's too late Paul has already said his Starly to use aerial are again and guess what Ash Starly loose the match.
"Ash's Starly is unable to battle... Paul Starly is the winner " Brock said and points in Paul direction initiating that he win the match.
'Ash I hope you understand that he is testing your attack power' I thought and looked over Ash.
" You did great Starly return" He said "I think I have figured out your battle style.....you cover your wear attacks by pushing and when you combine that with a lame-o strategy like yours I can't help but feel sorry for any pokemon who stuck with a lousy trainer like you.....huh that's all you got...." Paul said this which left me in shock. " You are only say this because you don't know him " I mumbled to myself in greeted teeth cuz' duh who Will tolerate when there bestie is being insulted...
"Now Aipom come out!" Ash said "Chimchar stand by!" Paul said I looked at the orange monkey Pokémon in shock I mean it's real chimchar ; as mine is a shiny one!

"Wow another one chimchar" I said and Paul's chimchar just look at me and then smile lightly and looked away...
The battle between Aipom and chimchar went not so well but I'll it's better as it ended up 1 on 1 .
"Tch so weak " Paul said and return his chimchar. "Now Pikachu I choose you!" Ash exclaimed and his Pikachu jumped in the battle field . "Elekid stand by!" Paul said calling out his electric pokemon. "How cool an elekid " Dawn said and take out her Pokédex to check it.
"Elekid the electric pokemon. Elekid waves it's arm to produce a strong electrical charge and gain strength when lighting it's present"
