Quiet day in Radiator Springs. Out on Willy's Butte were two race cars training for upcoming races and the same time they competed against each other in a friendly manner. Their names are Arianna Frances Dillon Conner and Hayley Caloway.
Hayley: You know what would be awesome right now?
Arianna: What?
Hayley: Doc watching us. I really wish I could have met him
Arianna: I Can't Race, I Have to Spend Time with My Little Baby Brother.
Hayley: A few more rounds and then we head to Flo's V8 Cafe.
Arianna: I Promised Kroshka Maitre, That We would See Dolphins!
Hayley: Hey you cheater!
Arianna then greatly increased speed and Hayley increased hers as she laughed with fun in the race. Up on the side was Scorpion, a friend of Hayley's and Girl Tow Truck. Then she was joined by a grey sports car. It was getting dark. His name was Cedric, a young sales man who just moved to Radiator Springs with Scorpion. They are good friends but deep down Cedric wanted something more then that but is very shy and hesitant to say it
Cedric: Uh how long are they doing that?
Scorpion: Half a day. They have to stay in good condition for the upcoming Hornet season
Cedric: Drive in circles all day, sounds quite boring to me
Scorpion: Its trying to win and stay in the lead is what matters. Otherwise I'd be bored right now
Cedric: I-I-I'm sorry! I forgot you were a...a...
Scorpion: Girl Tow Truck? Its alright Cedric. That's what I like about you. You always surprise me. Wanna go to Flo's?
Cedric: In a moment. I have to ask Miss Caloway and Mrs Arianna something first
Scorpion: Okay I'll see ya then
And Scorpion drove off for Flo's. Arianna and Hayley finished their last round which ended in a tie win. Then they saw Cedric driving down and coming towards them. They drove towards him too
Arianna: You alright?
Cedric: I don't know! Do I look alright?
Hayley: Honestly?
Cedric nods yes
Hayley: You look like someone with first date jitters
Arianna: Look you talked us through this over and over again. Do it one more time and every evening will be like this
Cedric: Every evening? Maybe she'll like that
Arianna: I was being Affectionable. Cedric relax already. Everyone is ready and knows their part
Hayley: All you have to do is give the signal
Then on the edge Kroshka Maitre appeared and shouted to them
Kroshka Maitre: Hey Guys! I saw a Abandoned House drove right in
Cedric: That's her!
He said with uncertain tone in his voice
Arianna: We're coming Kroshka Maitre!
Hayley: Looks like its known everywhere, showtime!
Cedric gulped and they all went to Radiator Spings which surprisingly was empty. Scorpion arrived and saw no one. Flo's was out, Luigi and Guido weren't outside and no Fillmore and Sarge arguing. Scorpion was getting a little worried.
Scorpion: Guys? Hello? Sally? Kroshka Maitre? Anybody?
Then all the lights lighted up with many colors! Scorpion was scared at first but then saw all the beautiful lights in the air. Flo then came out of her cafe with Ramone
Scorpion: Wow
Flo: If you think that was shiny honey, man are you in for a treat!
Scorpion: What do you mean by that Flo?
Ramone: You will see it when you know it, I can tell you that
Sally and all others appeared then too
Scorpion: Is this like what Arianna showed you?
Sally: Very much the same
Fillmore: But wait for it. The groove is about to get on
Sarge: Treehugger! What he means is that this was all for you
Scorpion: What? Why me?
Luigi: If only you knew. But then the surprise would be ruined. And knowing the surprise before you see it, is no surprise at all
Guido: Sono d'accordo con quello
Kroshka Maitre: Shoot that was nuthin'
Hayley: He planned this for weeks
Scorpion: Hayley you knew about this?
Hayley: Sure did. And even then, it amazes me too
Arianna: And there's the moment who is behind it
Hayley and Arianna showed Cedric with a soft smile on his face
Scorpion: You did this for me? Cedric I don't know what to say
As she said with joy
Cedric: Would you AHUM! Would you like to GULP!
Hayley then roared her engine!
Cedric: Would you like to out with me?
Scorpion: Aww Cedric! I'd love too
Cedric: Really?
Scorpion: I really do
