;LUKE;

Luke didn't have much friends, except Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford. They were all best friends.

As a High School sophomore the year before, 2014-2015, he was bullied by a jock named Brandon Lawrence. Everyone thought he was cute, every girl wanted him as their boyfriend, and every boy wanted to be like him.

But now, in the summer, he started going out to parties, and started working out.

When he was a sophomore, he had noodle arms and went to no parties.

Well, he didn't get invited.

Luke, finally, thought of a good idea. He took his iPhone out of his pocket and called Ashton. As it was ringing, he went downstairs, where he saw his mom, Liz cook and waved her hand in the air as if saying "hi" to her son

"hey, mu-" Luke started saying, but got cut off by Ashton's voice and blaring music.

"Ashton?"

"Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

"You okay? Are you at a club?"

"Maybeeeeee" "Hey, who's on the phone, give me it." Luke heard another voice say in his phone.

"Ello?" Luke asked.

"Oh! H-hey Luke! What's u-up? Ha," Calum stuttered.

"Is Michael there too?"

"W-well, um, yeah, why?" Calum asked, nervously.

"Oh.... and..... why wasn't I.... invited?" Luke asked, a sad tone laced in his voice.

"O-oh, um, because..because Ashton was just about to call you and invite you, I-"

"Yeah, sure. Whatever, have fun without me. bye," Luke said ending the call, sighing.

"Mum, I'm going to the park!" Luke said, closing the door behind him.

When he got there, he saw the swings at the corner of the park, next to the slide. He ran there and sat down on one of the swings. He turned on Spotify and l
pressed on a random playlist, listening to his music, quietly. He put his earplugs in his ears and started to drift off.

As he was listening to the music and swinging, someone sat next to him on the left swing, but he didn't bother to look. He didn't even hear them.

After 15 minutes, and 5 songs, the person next to him was still there. He, after a few minutes, realized a figure was next to him so he looked to his left and saw a pale girl who had light brown hair ; she also had light brown eyes, close to gray. He eyed girl sitting there in a black sweater on her which was too big and she had sweater paws. She looked like she was 15 or 16, since he was 16 he thought she looked his age.

She finally noticed him looking at her so she looked at him, smiling.

"Hey, I'm Luke," Luke said, with a small smile playing on his lips.

"Hi, I'm May," she said, shyly.

After a couple of minutes of silence and awkwardness, Luke spoke up.

"So, May, do you go to a school around here?" Luke asked, trying to keep the dull conversation going.

"Really? From all I know, might you be a serial killer!" she scoffed.

"You think I'm a serial killer?" Luke asked, eyebrows raised.

"Kinda, but I am going to trust you on this and say no, and you have a good taste in music. By the way," she said, pointing to his sweatshirt which had All Time Low on it.
