Cuffed <<L and Light FanFiction>>

Chapter One

L picked up a sugar cube and dropped it into his cup. Just as he dropped another sugar cube in the cup he was pulled towards Light. His hand ran across the desk and hit the cup spilling it all over the floor and on his pants. L fell on the floor, he stood up and looked at Light.

Light rubbed the back of his head and nervously smiled, "Sorry, Ryuzaki. Sometimes I just forget that I'm wearing this!" He lifted his arm and pointed to the handcuff

L just stared at Light, there was a uncomfortable silence between them. Then L looked down, the cup had broken and scattered across the floor.

"It's fine, Light-Kun.." L muttered

Light walked over to the broken cup and began to pick up the pieces. He placed them in his hand one at a time. L stood behind him and watched.

"Watari, will clean it up later Light-Kun."

Light turned around and looked up at L, he stood up and walked over to the trashcan. He threw away the pieces and when he turned around he noticed that L's pants were wet.

"Are you...going to change, or shower?" Light asked

L turned around, "No, we need to focus on the Kira case right now."

L sat back down in his chair, the usual way that he does, and began to work. Light shrugged his shoulders and sat down in the seat beside L. After a few more minutes of silent research Light spoke again.

"Your just going to stay in those clothes..?"

L ignored Light and continued to type, he put a lollypop in his mouth then took it out again and turned towards Light.

"Light-Kun with all due respect, I would not feel comfortable changing in front of you or showering in front of you."

L put the lollypop back in his mouth and continued to work.

Lights face went bright red, "No, no, no, wait! I wasn't going to watch you! I would face the other way or you could take off the handcuffs!"

Without taking his eyes off the screen L dully said "I can't take off the handcuffs and all humans have curiosity so even if you did have your back turned you'd have an urge to look."

Light gritted his teeth, and his face continued to get redder. Who does he take me for? Some kind of pervert?! Why can't he just be like any normal human being and go change? Light shook his head. No, why would I think that..L isn't like other humans...he's special, and unique. It's good that he stands out...I always liked different.

"Light-Kun! Could you stop staring at me and start to work?" L asked

Light's face went red with embarrassment as he scrambled to hide his face. He put up one hand to shield his face from L's eyes. He bit his bottom lip and nervously kept glancing at the clock.

What am I doing? Was I really staring at L? No, I couldn't have been. I was just lost in thought and it happened to appear that I was staring at him. That's all, it was just a misunderstanding.

L stood up and pulled the chain, Light looked up and then looked at the clock. He had gotten lost in thought again and lost track of the time. It was 11:34 p.m.

"Light, get up." L ordered "Don't you want to get some sleep?"

Light stood up and followed L to their room. Since they were both handcuffed they had to share a room together. L opened the door and they both walked in. Light walked over to his dresser and pulled out sweatpants and a V-neck.

L sat down and turned the other way as Light changed. But as he took off his shirt he felt like someone was watching him...Is he really watching me change!?
