Lucy Pov:

I stopped outside of the ballroom with Natsu behind me. According to my "father" I'd walk down with the guys and "my fiancee" would greet me at the bottom of the stairs. From there the guys would branch out with Gray and Gajeel going to search for the missing daughter, allowing the others and I to play our parts without a flaw.

It would be a close call if he was as observant as I'd been told but then again, it might have been an exaggeration.

Or that could've been an understatement... My mind threw in at the last moment. I froze for all of the three seconds.

Taking a deep shaky breath. I nodded to the men at the door. The announcer told the guests of my arrival and the doors opened.

With grace that I thought that I long since forgot I walked down the stairs. Being unable to look behind me to make sure that my partners were looking as sexy but deadly as they needed to I continued to go forward deciding to put my full faith in them.

When I reached the bottom of the stairs I was greeted by "my fiancee". "You look amazing Arabella, stunning if I may say so."

I smiled lightly. "You may."

The hall filled with claps and I took the time to look over "my fiancee."

He wasn't bad looking at all. Amber eyes that seemed to glow with an otherworldly beauty, short black hair that was both mature but stylish as though to show a wild personality, perfectly shaped eyebrows ontop of pale skin and that mature aura...Yeah he was a looker and the part of me that fangirlred was appalled that someone would leave him, but I had to remind myself. A sexy guy was not always a good guy, I knew from experience.

The music changed and I suddenly heard a voice from on stage. "Ladies and gentlemen, my daughter Arabella and her fiancee Prince Kira Rebellion." I gasped in the back of my head.

The Rebellion family was an old family that loved traditions almost as much as they loved to break them. A dark royal family of assassins these people were dangerous beings that were shrouded in mystery.

Pushing down a squeal I heard "father" speak again. "So please clear the dancefloor, I'd like to see my children dance." The music changed to an Argentine tango.

"May I?" I heard him ask.

"Of course." I replied.

With a gentle yet firm hand I was swept to the dancefloor and pulled into a position I hadn't felt in awhile. And despite my efforts I felt safe in the large arms that I was currently enclosed inside. I forgot about the men that I'd brought with me as we began to move.

Unlike the men I'd brought this man infront of me made them seem like little boys trying to fit inside big boy shoes. I hated myself for even making such an analogy but I couldn't help it! As I stared into his eyes all other thoughts escaped me. This man, no this otherworldly prince was simply perfect right here right now in this moment, and no one would convince me otherwise.

Natsu Pov:

I sipped my champagne in an attempt to distract myself from what I knew I had to watch to keep Lucy safe. I chugged the rest of the drink and placed the glass on a table, I didn't want to break anyone's dishes.

From here I could hear their conversation thanks to my dragon sense of hearing.

"You're a better dancer that you let on...Either you received lessons or you were holding out last time." Without so much as a grunt he lifted her into a perfectly done, not to mention complicated, movement that had everyone watching clapping.
