I was in seventh grade at that time and I was cheerful person because of my best friend who stayed with me.She was the best person I had ever known and her name was Amy. We were just like sisters like Elsa and Anna. It was about time I had been with her and people say that "Nothing last forever", that was how Amy was.
I had never ever dated anyone in my life but she was the one who persuaded me to date. There was a guy whom I liked since fifth grade but I never dared to let it show to anyone. But you can't hid it from the person who knows you very well and I Amy could see it very clearly. She asked me,
"Do you like James?"
"Huh?..No not at all.."
"Come on don't lie to me....I saw it clearly in your eyes...."
"I...I..." I started to blush
"See I knew....why don't you date him?"
"Are you crazy...why would he date me when there is the most beautiful girl in the class...what's her name..um..yeah Veronica..."
"Hey!!Are you crazy or you have lost your mind.."
"What..."
"He likes you too stupid"
"What..."
"Yes....our parents are good friends so we meet often and once he told me about you that he liked you since fourth grade..."
"Wow...I didn't even knew him in fourth grade.."
"So when are you going to date him?"
"Well...I don't have the courage.."
"Come on I will send you two on a date tomorrow...okay"
"Okay"
"Come on now let's go to shopping we have to get your hair done and buy some dresses and makeup...."
And that's how she put me up to a date.The next day I went on a date with James....
The date was quite good and we had our first kiss there. It was my first kiss and I was really excited. When we were leaving I got a text from Amy, "I hope that your date was memorable. And I am sorry for not telling you that today is the last day for me on this world. I didn't tell you that I had a hole in my heart. I hope I can see you today for one last time...."
After reading this tears started coming out of my eyes and I started whispering,
"Am..y...A..m...y...."
"What's wrong?" James asked me. I showed him the text from Amy and he said,
"Don't worry we will be able to see her come on I will take you to her you will definitely see her come with me..."
While we were crossing the road a beam of light came rushing towards us and then my eyes were closed. When I opened my eyes I was in the hospital and I was badly injured, my head was hurt badly. I asked a nurse,
"Excuse me...Where are my parents?"
"Oh wait I will call them.."
My mom and dad came in their eyes were filled with tears. I asked them,
"Mom..where is Amy?"
"Anuskha...It has already been anyear now..she died on the day when you had the accident..." she was crying
"It..has been an year..." I cried badly that day
My mother explained me that the night I and James got into an accident, Amy died from the shock of my accident otherwise she could have lived a little longer may be a few hours or minutes but still if I wouldn't have got into an accident that day then I could have seen her.
That was how I lost my best friend and from then I stopped dating James. From that day I and James were good friends. After that I never ever dated anyone and preferred to be alone, until I met Nicky. She was one who made me feel that Amy was again by my side and hence I became satisfied and began to forget about Amy. And that brings me to the present day here in the classroom.
"Gosh..so noisy I can't focus.."
"Gosh..Agioo.....Jessica stop it know we are having fun.." replied Haeng(Nicky's boyfriend)
"Fun..huh..."
I sat down because I can't tolerate these horrible punks. Nicky came from the teacher's room and said,
"Do you still like James...?"
