Chapter 2: Sickness pains(FLUFF)

"Well looks like I'm staying here for a while.."
"no!"

Lisa looked confused, "why though?". She raised an eyebrow, looking at the other worriedly.

"jen-"

"I'm s-sorry.." Jennie said, feeling tears roll down her cheeks. The older furrowed her brows, pouting at Jennie's behaviour. "sorry for what? Jennie, tell me." Lisa said sternly, "y-you can go study, I can take c-care of myself.." The younger mumbled, sniffling quietly. Lisa sighed, "oh no, no. You're way important, I can't leave you like this. Jennie, you're my other half, the sweetest person I've met. So please, let me take care of you." She said with a soft tone.

After hearing Lisa's words, the younger broke down, sobbing into the other's neck. Lisa smiled as she rubbed her dongsaeng's back gently. Jennie relaxed as she felt her bestfriend's warmth, it made her feel safe. She loved it a lot. "now take these pills for me..alright?" The older said quietly.

"o-okay.." She whispered, her throat feeling scratchy. Jennie took the pills, putting them into her mouth then swallowing water after. She winced at the pain she felt right when she swallowed the pills. Lisa noticed the other's reaction, so she decided to make some warm tea to soothe down her throat. "I'm gonna go make some tea for us, I'll be right back.." Lisa smiled. The other nodded, smiling back.

Lisa stood up and headed towards the kitchen. She grabbed a small kettle, pouring warm water in it. Putting the kettle onto the burner, while waiting, she looked for some chamomile tea. Lisa poured the water into a small light pink mug, she then put the chamomile tea and stirred the mixture.

"here you go jen, tell me when you need anything." She smiled, sitting on the edge of the couch. Jennie cautiously took the mug, holding it close to her lips. She took a small sip, sighing in relief as the warm tea soothed her hoarse throat.
"Is the tea helping?"
" Y-yeah. Y-your good at making this s-stuff. I think I'll be good by tomorrow...!" Jennie tried to say in excitement, so that her best-freind would stop worrying about her and maybe go home. "Haha. If you think those words will make me go home, Then your absolutely wrong. I'm not gonna leave you until I'm 100 percent sure your okay, So nice try."
"H-HEY! I didn't know you were you secretly psychic! That's not fair!" Jennie groaned, As Lisa started chuckling out of her freind's response. After calming down, she said:
"Well let me take your temperature, Then we'll decide." And after a couple of minutes, The thermometer made a small 'Beep' Sound, and....
"Your temperatures 63?! That's a quick recovery!" Lisa said in a surprised tone. "AHA! So I am good after all! Hehe!"
"Well that's good!"
"Wait..does that mean I can..do this?"
"What do you mea-"
That's the last word lisa said after jennie gave her a surprise hug. And if Lisa was being honest, she didn't mind. Infact, she hugged back. She always enjoyed jennies hugs, But this one felt a little..different. it sparked a new emotion she never felt before for her best-freind.
Could it be......
Love?
