Chapter 3: Overthinking feelings

The two have slept on the couch all day long, Lisa have promised Jennie that she would stay with her until the younger felt better. And to be exact, Lisa never left her until Jennie finally admitted that she felt better.

Lisa woke up from her long nap. Her back hurts badly from the position she was in. She successfully got up without waking up the other, as she was sleeping peacefully.

'11:23pm' She checked her phone, 'woops' She thought to herself, smiling when she saw Jennie's cute sleepy pout she had each time she slept. Lisa made some warm soup for breakfast to warm both of their bodies. Due to the cold weather outside, some streets have been blocked from the snowstorm that occurred yesterday night.
Right when Lisa put the soup into a bowl, the younger woke up, whining at the lost of warmth. All the older could do was chuckle. "feeling better jen?" She smiled. "mhm thank you." Jennie hummed as she smiled back. "anything for you." The older said, heading over to Jennie.

She hugged the younger gratefully. "here's your soup, I'll be at the guest room if you need me." Lisa said. Jennie nodded and watched the other drift to her room.

'you're the best Lisa.' She smiled and admired her bestfriend, caring, understanding, and.. hot.
'HUHHHHH?! What am I even thinking?! She's my best freind! Always has been! What the hell is wrong with me..'She thought to herself as she gazed at a figure of a woman slowly making her way to the guest room. Jennie couldn't understand what was up with her. They have always been freinds, Since childhood! Was this a normal stage of friendship? It didn't feel like it. It was strange. This type of feeling was weird to experience. She couldn't help the fact there freindship doesn't feel the same anymore. No matter how much she scrolled on her phone, texted her online freinds or listened to her Playlist with her headphones on, She still couldn't bear the thought that repeated in her mind like an earworm.
"Do you like her?"
'OFCOURSE I DONT!'. She shouted out loud. Fuck.
'Jennie! Are you okay?!' Lisa shouted out the hallway and started sprinting to her freinds area. "OH GOD PLEASE NO! I NEED TO DO SOMETHING!" That's when an idea hit her. She quickly put her headphones on.
'JEN-....nie? Your okay?'
'Hm? What do you mean?' Jennie tried to act as confused as possible, and it actually sounded believable. Now Jennie was sure that not only her freindship with Lisa was changing, But she herself is aswell.
'Ohhhh. I see! You were probably jamming music! Sorry about that.'
'Its okay!'
'Well, I actually wanted to ask you something..'
'Yeah? What is it?'
'Well I've recently won tickets for the amusement park, And I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go?' Jennie's eyes lit up. 'The amusement park?! Of course I want to go! Can I though?'
'Ofcourse you can!'
'YES!' She jumped out of the couch and placed herself into her freind's arms for a small hug'
'Ohhhhh Jennie. Your such a goof-ball.'
