But they didn't know that Sylar followed Claire to homecoming. When Claire and her friend Jackie were alone Claire heard a strange noise. When Claire saw Sylar, he had her friend Jackie up against the lockers and Claire told Sylar to put her down and he did. Sylar ran off and Jackie said thank you for saving me Claire and Claire said you are welcome Jackie. So Jackie and Claire went to go cheer with the other cheerleaders.
