Snapes' family home
"You'll take my credit card with you," Florence said, noticing her daughter's eyes sparkle, "Do not make me regret this, Elizabeth!"
"I won't!" Elizabeth exclaimed, holding the black plastic card that was charmed to work in connection to her mother's Gringotts account.
Before going back to France, Elizabeth convinced Florence to let her meet Draco once more and the young couple decided to spend an afternoon on Diagon Alley, for her father was home that day, therefore the village wasn't a safe choice.
"Thanks, mum. I'll just buy some books for myself and a birthday present for dad."
"Ok," Florence looked at her warningly, "You can spend – but do not overspend!"

Right after lunch, Severus took Christopher to the playground and Elizabeth flooed to the Leaky Cauldron to spend a few hours with her boyfriend.

Diagon Alley
Draco was waiting for her in front of the Magical Menagerie pet store; the moment he saw her walk out of the Leaky passage, he smiled, watching her smiling back and feeling his heart jump inside his chest, his feet taking him towards her and he felt a sudden urge to dance.
Maybe I'm still suffering aftereffects from having been turned into a ferret.

Elizabeth walked straight to him and into his arms, loving how he hugged her tightly, wrapped his arms around her and sniffed her hair.
"Hi, darling," he breathed, "Isn't it strange how we've met just once and yet I missed you dearly these past two weeks..."
She sighed, "I know, Dray, I've missed you too," she smiled up to him, loving being surrounded by his scent.
He slowly lowered his lips to hers and kissed her, feeling her run a hand up his chest and sigh against his lips.
"Liz?" he whispered, "As much as I'd love to stand here with you in my arms," he said, smiling, "we're risking having our picture turn up in the Prophet..."
She immediately took a step back, looking around in concern, "Oh, no! We can't have that! My dad reads the Prophet every day!
Draco nodded and offered her his arm, "So let's walk?"
She nodded, taking his arm, and they were hidden by the crowds of the ever-busy main street of the Alley.

"How were your Holidays?" Draco asked.
"They were great! We spent both Christmas and New Year's Eve at home, as usual," Liz smiled as she talked, "My parents are very private people, they don't like huge parties."
"That sounds heavenly," said Draco with a small smile, "My parents, on the other hand, love to host huge parties; on New Year's Eve there were about two hundred people at the manor. Most of them from the Ministry, some athletes, celebrities and, of course, Rita Skeeter – to make sure the party would end up in the Daily Prophet," he rolled his eyes at the obnoxiousness, "I hate those gatherings. I wish I could leave the house on those days."
Liz tilted her head, "Why didn't you stay at school if you knew that was going to happen?"
He shook his head, "I would if I could choose. I only stay there when they allow. My parents firmly believe in showing the world we are a very happy family, when the truth is far from it."
