At the beach, a six year old, four traited faunas, with ears, tail, claws and slit cat like eyes, Blake sat atop a rock reading a book about faunas. She may be a faunas herself, but she didn't know everything about her race.

'Faunas each have an animal trait or traits, ranging from just one, that being ears or tale; to having ears, a tail and even claws, and rarely some faunas, even have up six traits...'

"Like aunt Sienna." Blake muttered.

'... these faunas are often called fully traited faunas. And as far as we are aware. Faunas kind has been around as long as mankind, and according to myths or legends, faunas were created by the God of Darkness.'

Blake scoffed. "Just humans using a outdated religion to discriminate us."

'But even being separate species. Humans and Faunas are still compatible. And as to what traits the child has, it ultimately depends on the father and mother both having traits that belong to the same animal family, then the child will have both of the parents traits.'

'Like me.' Blake thought happily, her tail slightly wagging behind her.

'If two faunas from diffrent animal species come together, the child's traits will be chosen at random. And for a human and faunas couple. If the faunas parent has wolf ears and tail, the child would just have one of those traits. Theoretically speaking, that's how some faunas today have a single trait, they have human lineage. In history, it was quite common for human lords or rich merchants to buy fuanas, specicaflly canine or feline f-'

Blake quickly skipped that part, she doesn't want to know about humanity's weird favoritism over diffrent kind of fuanas.

'Earley man was scared of the faunas. To some they can sympathize with it-'

'Doesn't make it right'. Blake thought.

'Like most things man didnt understand, they shunned it. Faunas were often kicked out of towns and their homes, isolating them to diffrent settlements and some even hunting them down. Once upon a time, the amount of Faunas were equal in numbers to humans. But now, after centuries of being used as labour or being killed. The faunas population, just barely make up thirty percent of Remnant's population.'

Blale looked to the book sadly. 'I-I know humanity has done horrible things to us. But I-'

"Blake!" A voice called out to her.

Blake quickly shut the book and put it to the side, and looked to the one who said her name. Quickly running down the beach was a read haired boy, with blue eyes, the Snchee snowflake marked over his right eyes, aurochs horns and tail, and wearing black clothing, it was Blake's friend, a ten year old Adam Tuaras.

Adam arrives to Blake still sitting on the rock, he hunches over taking large gaps.of breath, no doubt having run a long distance to find her.

"Yes Adam."

Adam looks up at her, blue eyes meeting amber. "W-why" he panted out. "Do you have to read at the beach?"

Blake looked at the older boy dumbly. "I wanted somewhere alone to read. Besides I told da- dad didn't tell you where I was did he?" Blake deadpanned.

Adam gave a small chuckle, now standing straight and tall, with a small smile. "Yea. Didnt allow me in the house either, I ran around the whole island almost to find you."

Blake groaned, holding her head in her hands. "I dont know why he doesn't like you, it's almost like any boy I bring over... he just... hates." Her voice muffled by her hands.

Adam gave a cheeky smile. "Oh he isn't that bad." His eyes roam to Blake's side where the book is placed. "What ya reading?"

"Its a dumb book about the facts and history of the faunas. I thought I could freshen up my knowledge on us. But after reading parts of it... I just can't." Blake looks away from the book and Adam sadly.
