Chapter Fourteen. Chances.

Leah's POV:

All I hear is the sound of the rain hitting the window, it isnt loud, its more so soothing. The cold window pressed against my head eases me out of my fright and into a new state of universe of my own. The radio is low so you could only hear certain songs play out, and occasionally you hear the hum of Liam singing along with it.

I open up my eyes to see the car turning into the familiar long drive way. I see the blur of my Fathers figure on the porch, a big smile plastered on his face. I look at Liam his smile is the same. I get out of the car and run to the porch. Not only to get out of the rain, but my Dad is home!

"Dad!" I scream and hug him tightly, I feel his big arms wrap around me and I hear his heavanly chuckle ring through my ears.

"Hey baby girl!" He whispers in my ear. I let him go and his face grows stern for a minute but then he cracks another smile.

"What?" I ask, confusion dancing in my eyes.

"You kick a girls ass and I wasnt here to see it!" He laughs. I smile back and touch the dogtag around my neck. Dad looks over to the Tomlinson house then back at me.

"So, I see we live by the Tomlinson's. Do you remember Louis?" He says walking into the house, me following swiftly behind. I groan and he turns around to face me.

"Dont get me started on Louis Tomlinson." I whisper. He lets out a chuckle and walks into the Family room while I go to my room and get clean lazy clothes and take a shower.

I walk into the bathroom and see my bright red hair is longer, but my roots arent showing, Mum must have been nice enough to get it done while I was in the hospital still.

I turn the water on, and strip. I step in and let the warm jets of water go all over my face and smile. I do all my showerly things and get dressed letting my hair dry and it going pin straight, yet again.

I walk down the stairs and hear chatter in the Family Room. I walk in to see that Liam is no where to be found, Mum and Dad are talking to Mr. Chambers, and this must be his wife and of course... His son.... Munro

"Oh Leah! You and Munro can go to the park how about that?" My Mum says smiling big and pushing Munro toward me, I groan and slip my flip flops on and walk outside not really caring if he is behind me. I dont like him in the first place. He is the biggest Jock in the school, he gets anything he wants, anyone he wants, and he gets laid every weekend. What a man right?

"Woah! Leah! Slow down!" I hear him pant behind me. I roll my eyes and slow down a bit letting him catch up to me.

"Y'know for being a Football player you shouldnt be panting from fast walking." I state turning into the little park, and see the little kids playing. Maybe thats how me and Louis looked.

"Funny." He says laughing. You know I would figure he would catch the fibe that I DONT like him at all.

"I thought you really would have caught on by now Munro." I say coldly. By now we are in the wooded area of the local Doncaster park on the dirt trail. My favorite part of this park. I heard him groan and look over at him, he looks pissed.

"I like you alright." He spat.

"What?" I say clearly confused. By now we are both stopped, his dark brown hair is kind of sweaty, his green eyes full of tons of emotions.

"I. Like. You. I always have, its confusing! I know but! Please just hear me out Leah!" He pleads, he hands both hands on my shoulders shaking me. All I can do is stare why would he like me? "Please.." He whispers. I look in his eyes and they are pleading me too.

"Okay.." I whisper waiting for his reply.

"All those rumors arent true. Most of them are just created by girls who want me but I dont want them. I have only had sex once. The number of girlfriends I have had is 5. My longest being a year." He rambled off making me kind of laugh at how he is trying to impress me.

"Why do you like me so much?" I ask laughing a bit and starting on the trail again. He lets out a steady breath and follows closely behind me. "Like, what do you like so much about me, and why havent you said anything to me before?" I say looking all around but his eyes.

"Well, to your first question. You're different. I like different, when you got here you were so different. You didnt care about getting a boyfriend you cared about friends, you got one tattoo that actually means something its not meaningless. The answer to your second question is, your personality, you're random, and funny, sweet, and shy, smart, sophisticated, your smile is beautiful, you're eyes tell a story, your voice is so beautiful when you sing. And lets not forget that you are completely and utterly beautiful." he says drawing in another breath. "I have never said anything because I never really new what to say to you.. Like, im too nervous? I dont know its hard to explain." He says getting quieter.

"Wow." Is all I say, but in my head I was completely won over by his speech.

"Thats it.." He says softly.

I laugh a bit and look at the birds in the tree across the way.

"Munro, you have to see that you cant just say things to me to get me to be your girlfriend, you have to take me on a date first. Then I can see if you are what you really say you are I mean its harder then it really seems." I say looking at him, there is hope in his eyes and he is smiling down at me.

"So does this mean I get a shot?" He says walking out of the trail and back into the park side by side walking back to my house.

"Of course." I say laughing.

"Well then, Leah Miller. Will you please go on a date with me tomorrow night?" He says in a posh tone making me laugh and nod my head.

"What time?" I say as we walk down my long drive way to the door.

"6ish is good. Thanks for giving me a chance at least." He laughs and takes my smaller hand in his bigger one and kisses my knuckles, I let out a giggle and he smiles big.

We walk in the house laughing and our parents are sitting in the Family Room laughing.

Maybe he isnt so bad Leah. Maybe.

Guys I am so sorry that I havent been updating... I have been so busy and My whole chapter got deleted before I could publish it.. So here is a totally different chapter, this is something totally different then I had planned but I changed my answer lol. But I hope you like it. And guess whatttt That is Munro Chambers from Degrassi lol you know the kid who plays Eli? Yeah thats him! He is in this book and lemme tell yaaaaa, there is going to be some cray shizzle going doneee!
