"(Y/N), hold on a moment!" Since the voice was Sinbad's, I did just that. I was willing to hear what he had to say, "I heard the story from Ja'far, and... I feel the need to apologize." I was about to sneer at him; However, I had already been rude. The least I could have done is let him continue, "I know the events from yesterday give me no right to make excuses, however, I at least want to try to explain myself. It was getting late in the day, so I thought you wouldn't come till the next day-"

"I mean no offense King Sinbad, but I feel the need to stop you here. Your excuse from the get-go is not only impractical but insulting. If you didn't know my current whereabouts, that is all the more reason to be ready for my arrival. There wasn't, and still isn't, any excuse to... do what you did with that woman and fall into an alcohol-induced state." I stated before showing him the letter in my hand. "I am sending this to my sister as soon as possible. Which means I'm leaving in two weeks at the soonest. It is more than enough time to establish trade and an alliance with you and Sindria; However small." Before I could process anything, the King was doing, he snatched the letter from my hands and playfully held it above my head. "Hey, give it back!"

"No, thank you. I'm going to hold onto this letter until you let go of your prejudices against me." Sinbad taunted, as I attempted to get the letter back into my grasp. I was so focused on my goal, that I didn't realize how close I was to him. Our bosoms touched and I was an inch or so away from kissing him. Realization hit me, before I backed away and gazed to the floor in embarrassment. "I know I have done you wrong; However, I can't just let you send this letter. Give me a week to make things right. If you still feel uncomfortable with my presence, then I'll let you send this letter to your sister. Do we have a deal?" Feeling some guilt, I lightly took the letter from him.

"That... doesn't seem right..." I sighed, placing the letter on a nearby table, "After all, I'm not being considerate in the slightest. Though you did such a thing upon my arrival, I did humiliate you, so... I believe we are even. I won't send the letter. Not yet anyway, but I want to start on what I came here for as soon as possible. It doesn't have to be today, but we- I don't have any moment to waste. And another thing! Please refrain from drinking, at least in my presence, unless it is for the courtesy of diplomatic purposes of course..." Another moment of silence drew over the room before Sinbad decided to speak.

"I have time now, to go over some of Feanel's agreements, if you will allow such to happen." Sinbad commented giving me a small, kind smile, that made me flustered once more; However, I pulled myself together before it was too noticeable.

"I... would have to get some of my paperwork from the bedroom." Silence filled the void. Uncomfortable, lonely silence. A type of quieted state that would make a person go crazy if left in it for too long. "... I don't know where it is..." Pouting at the floor, I screamed at myself for saying something so embarrassing. 'Sinbad's a King! He shouldn't be leading me to my room!!'

"It wouldn't be a bother taking you. After all, I choose it before your arrival." Sinbad walked a little ways ahead of me before he turned to see my still figure, unmoving. Confusion was written on his features, as I was lost in thought. Noticing that he was not only ahead of me but glancing back to wait for me to come toward himself. Rushing over, he started to stride across the marble floors once more. My pace was quite faster than his own, however, we continued to walk next to each other. Turning my (E/C) eyes toward said male, I gazed at his figure with blatant curiosity. 'He has grown so much since the last time I saw him. Some things haven't changed... His hair is still in that ponytail, and his sword still hangs on his hip as if nothing has changed. The determination that radiates off of him is the same as when I first met him. However, he looks more like a King. And his maturity has definitely changed for the better... probably...' As I was lost in thought, a voice sliced through my subconscious, "Is everything alright? Do I have something on my face?" Jolting a little, I realized I was full-out staring at him before he broke me out of my thoughts.
