【Ａ ｔｒｉｐ ｔｏ Ｏｕｔｅｒ Ｓｐａｃｅ】🌗-🌠 { 𝓢𝓾𝓷/𝓜𝓸𝓸𝓷 𝔁 𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓻 }

Ｆｉｒｓｔ ｄａｙ ｏｎ ｔｈｅ ｊｏｂ！ （２）

It was your first day on the job, and it was nothing like you expected. The kids were like demons, they would screech and scratch on everything. Luckily, you were just a security guard for the daycare. You were minding your business while sitting at the front desk until you catch a kid doing something peculiar. Turns out, the kid was licking the pole structure of the jungle gym. You make a disgusted face and yell, "MARK, NO, DON'T EAT THAT!!"  You look away, disgusted, but fix your face as the sun man walks towards you.



"HEY! YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOUR NAME! MY NAMES SUNDROP WHAT'S YOURS?" He says energetically while resting his elbows on the front desk. You pause and hesitate to answer, "It's (Y.../N)" You say nervously. "WOOOWW WHAT A BEAUTIFUL NAME!" Sundrop said, stretching out his arms and smiling.  Your face turns red as you look away, so he doesn't notice. "I KNOW YOU ARE JUST HERE FOR PATROL AND ALL BUT, DO YOU WANNA HELP GIVE OUT SNACKS TO THE KIDS? I COULD REALLY USE ANOTHER PAIR OF HANDS!" He exclaims while extending out his arms to make them longer. You let out a giggle as you say the following words. "Sure! Why not, I'm kind of bored, and I should probably learn some more about you!" 

𝓢𝓾𝓷𝓼 𝓟𝓞𝓥

They wanted to spend time with me?  "OoOO Is someone likey like??" A mysterious yet familiar voice in my head say. "OH SHUT UP! WE HAVE ONLY MET FOR LIKE 4 MINUTES! BESIDES, THAT INCIDENT YESTERDAY WITH THE KID!" Sun yells internally. I walk over to a large air balloon shaped refrigerator and pull out lactose-free chocolate milk. I looked  down to see (Y/N) grabbing the goldfish and apples from the bottom shelf. She was crouched under my legs as she looks for the cheese sticks. A thought crosses my head as I start to overheat. I brush it off as the familiar voice in my head makes fun of me for having these 'particular' thoughts.   

 (𝓨/𝓝'𝓼) 𝓟𝓞𝓥

You grabbed the cheese sticks and walk over to Sun, who was already passing them out. 
After we handed them out and everyone ate, Sun introduced me to the kids. " SUNBEAMS MEEET CAPTAIN (Y/N)! THEY WOULD BE HELPING AROUND SOMETIMES, SO IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, YOU CAN GO ASK THEM!" I giggle and waved towards the children. Secretly, deep down, you loved children, but you knew how much of  a monster  these ones can be. You fake a smile and turn towards Sun and pull him down by his collar and whisper what Mark did earlier this morning. He squints at mark and points his finger at him. " You, me, Time-Out Corner" He said in a strangely normal tone. "I guess he does have an inside voice programmed in him, it's kinda cute when he speaks normally~" You giggle to yourself.

A kid nearby heard what you said and rushed to a group of kids chatting on the beanbags. "HANNAH, LUCAS, AKIRA GUESS WHAT!!!" Yelled the kid. " What Gavin?" Said Akira anxiously. " CAPTAIN (Y/N) HAS A CRUSH ON MR. SUN!!" "OOOOOOOOOOO" They all let out in unison. They continue to spread the word and tell every other kid and tell them to spread the message. This continued to go on until dismissal, when the word finally hit you. You stared at the child who told you in absolute shock. 

You were so confused and had so many questions, Furthermore, you stared at the child blankly until it ran off to Sun. Not only that, but you try to catch up to tell it that it wasn't true and to not spread the word until you stopped in your tracks... It was too late.
