Fear filled I was panting, it was dark and I was crawling through the tunnels searching to find some sort of exit.
I reach a corner that was set with the protruding clear plastic tubes that allowed me to see the entire daycare. No use anyways it was darker than a chocolate bar..
I could really use a chocolate bar right about now.

"Mark..come out come out wherever you are...."

"I wept silently feeling my chest rise and fall. My heart was running is own race as I felt the strong footsteps coming nearer..and nearer..and..

"MARK!" I jolted up from my hiding to see Akira. It was still dark but it was as if she had this angelic flow around her. She offered her hand and I hesitated at first. I took her palm in mine and she pulled me towards the exit of this jungle gym cubicle. Still trembling and shaking from every sudden noise until we arrived.

"You saved me...thank you."

"Mark I didn't save you." She growled low.

"What..but you got me out of that scary place! You-you saved me from whatever was in there! That monster!" I stammered walking closer and squeezing her limp hands.

"Mark you seem to have this..false sense of our friendship. So I think I should remind you." Her voice was static and the angelic flow has become a violent melody. Twirling around her like she can strike fear into anyone who was even close.

"I never actually cared. My loyalty remains with Hannah, Lucas and Gavin. You really think I could love a snob loser like you?"

All of a sudden black goo formed from the ground forming Hannah, Lucas, and Gavin. They made a half circle around me letting Akira fill it in.

"Stop standing like you don't have stuff to do and GET TO WORK!" Gavin spat at me, knocking me back with a push.

"Ew! I think his slobber got on me! Save that for the poles you wet DOG!!" Her rosy skin was marked with black goo marks ingrained into her arms, she pushed me towards Lucas with strength no 5 year old should have.

"HELP ME!! SOMEONE HELP!" I wailed into the black abyss of the daycare surrounding us.

"Oh Mark, nobody can save you. Nor I don't think they even would want to seeing how much of a duncehead loser you are. Can't even admit you wrote that letter to Akira. No wonder she doesn't like you. You're nothing but a WUSSY!" He launched me back to the center. I instantly collapsed to my knees and wailed, begging for my mom, for someone to help me. My Auburn skin covered in sweat. My glasses slipped to the floor, my vision already blurry from tears.

"Children, you had your fun. Come home now."

Without saying anything they walked to form a singular line. While walking past me Akira kicked my stomach making me yelp in pain.

"Dumbass." Lucas spat on me.

Gavin and Hannah did nothing but glare.

They lined up single file and turned straight into black goo, racing into the darkness.

"My job here is done."
