Prologue - My Baby is My Song

Techno POV

Something was missing amongst our small crew really the only other pirates we have here is my family Wilbur, Phil, Sally, Fundy, Kristen, and me, but it felt empty my nephew was still learning the ropes of being a pirate and he did a pretty good job for someone his age

"Everyone gets something to cover your ears, we are entering siren territory!" Dad shouted me and Wilbur got earplugs for Mom and Sally and I got earplugs for me, dad and Fundy.

We were crossing the territory until a siren jumped to our ship dad got his sword out until the siren took my earplugs off making me sweat thinking he will hypnotize me

"Pirate, please listen to me" He spoke desperately, making me jump

I made a hand signal showing he's peaceful, making everyone else wearily take off the buds

"My son is not safe here, please help him I can't be with him or else he will die please let him live I beg of you," the siren said kneeling on me making my whole family just stare out of pity

"Ok I will," I said making my family just stared at me, he handed me the baby siren

"His name is Theseus Thomas Innit but since he's your son now I guess he has your name now thank you, pirate," the siren said jumping off the ship

My family all crowded next to me to see the baby siren, we all saw a baby with golden scales sleeping just like Fundy when he was born

"What are we going to do with it dad," Wilbur said I kind of growled when he called him an "it"

"Well it's your brother call Will," Mom said putting her hand on my shoulder reassuring me she won't be mad at what I pick

"I'll keep him I promise the siren so uhh meet my son now Theseus "Thomas" Blade-Watson," I said making Wilbur aww at me while Sally was just cooing at the baby my dad, however, was silent

"Techno I will tell you a baby is a big responsibility more, so a siren are you sure you're ready," Dad said I just nodded

"Well then welcome to the family Tom's," Wilbur said, interrupting everything

"Can I see my cousin?" Fundy said and I just passed him Theseus.

"Let's just call him Tommy since it's his middle name but easier," Wilbur said, making everyone agree mom just went to the deck and grab a camera

"Ok everyone smile," Mom said, taking a picture of our family

~3 days later~

Ok, so I knew a baby would be hard work but still, I didn't think it was that hard, thank god I had my family with me

"Hey Will" I greeted my brother

"Hey Tech you look exhausted," Wilbur said laughing at the end there

"Yeah, I can see how hard raising Fundy was to you," I said

"Just wait until Tommy's voice starts being hypnotic" Wilbur said, making me jump

"I did some research baby sirens get their voice near 5," Wilbur said, making me groan

"Well that's one thing to worry," I said seeing Fundy playing with his cousin

"Can't wait for him to call you Uncle Wilbur just to make you cry" I said Wilbur just punched me in my arm

~5 years later~

Fundy POV

I was just sleeping until I heard the most beautiful voice ever

"Fundy I had a nightmare can you come here," The voice said, and I followed it since it called me, I went to see my cousin crying I shook my head to find out his siren voice is now developing which is nice but will be a problem when he can't control it

"Hey Tom's it's me Fundy I'm here no more nightmares," I said hugging my cousin he was small and very easy to cover, so I slept in his bed for the night protecting him from any monsters

Techno POV

I was looking for Fundy since he wasn't in his room I checked my son's room to see him and Fundy in a little cuddle pile together I poke Fundy until he woke up

"Hey Uncle Techno" Fundy said, rubbing his eyes from sleep

"Hey Fundy you made us worried what happened," I asked my nephew

"Oh Tommy's voice is hypnotic now, and he called me since he had a nightmare," Fundy said which made me a bit pale

Tommy's voice now was powerful I guess, so we have to teach him how to control it

"Ok well you can go back to sleep I'll tell the others you're here," I said as Fundy just went back to sleep

I left the cabin to see my brother and his wife looking for Fundy

"Hey Will I found Fundy bad news is Tommy started to develop his siren voice and is forcing Fundy to stay for cuddles," I told my brother who quickly left to his room and came back with a camera

"Show me," he said, and I did he took many pictures

~years later~

Philza POV

Time does fly at sea, I stare at my wife Kristen as she was making food for our family

I'm more curious about our youngest grandson while I love Tommy I'm more concerned if he wants to swim its in siren to feel the sea and Tommy was raised inside a ship

"Hey Kristen do you think Tommy wants to swim," I told my wife she looked at me with a little smirk as she put the dishes down

"I have thought of it as well, but Tommy is 13 now he can control his voice, but I think the sea is calling him to swim it's in his blood how about you ask him," Kristen said I just kissed her and left to Tommy cabin

As soon as he was at Tommy's cabin he saw his other grandson talking to him, Fundy recently has turned 18 making him an adult

"Yeah, that means I'm legal now to drink! Oh, hey Grandpa" Fundy says stopping his conversation with his cousin just to talk to his grandfather.

"Hey Grandpa," Tommy said

"Hey mates Tommy I want to talk to you about something," I said making Fundy go a bit closer to the door, but I took my hand out letting him stay

"What's wrong Grandpa" Tommy questions his fins droop

"Oh it's about you now that you're 13 I was wondering if you ever got a call to swim you are a siren you should feel the ocean calling you," I said making Tommy stare at me while Fundy stares at Tommy

"Yeah I do, and I want to soooo badly, but I don't want to make you guys upset," Tommy said swinging his tail around out of all of us Tommy is the only mystical creature here we are all human, but that doesn't make Tommy any less a part of this family

"Hey Fundy want to go swimming the ocean is pretty clear, so it's safe in this part," I said making Fundy nod while Tommy looked happy

"Ok kids Fundy go get changed and proper swimming gear and Tommy since you can breathe underwater just change into clothes that you don't mind getting wet," I said making both nods as I left to tell everyone

Tommy POV

I was changing into a simple red and white shirt with khaki shorts and I ran out to see my whole family in swimming gear

"Hey Toms are you ready to swim," Dad said ruffling my hair

"Yeah! Let's go!" I yelled.

"Okay you little shits be careful and well don't die" as Grandpa said that he jump out of the ship as we all followed him I found out that the ocean was just as much of a home just like the ship I felt whole just being here with my family
