In the Crystal Castle, Rose and her father were looking at the night sky with a special telescope. The Snack Pack and their fairy friends were able to join the king. The True 8 are also joining them.

"Rose, we will witness something that only happens every 100 years." King Leafrent said.

"What is it dad?" Rose asked.

"It has something to do with animals and it's time you'll get an animal companion." He answered.

"Dad, I already have my flutterpups and Sunburst with me." She nodded.

"This one is special, he or she will be your BPF or Best Pet Friend." He said. "I got Victoria when I was your age."

"Hey Rose, what is happening today?" Abby asked.

"I hate to break it to you but this event might affect you and the other mythical creatures, except for fairies and the vastaya." Rose answered.

"How?" Abby asked.

"This green moon happens every 100 years. I have witnessed the effects beforehand." Branch said.

"Wow I 've never heard of a green moon before." Tara said.

"This one is not good for all normies like you." Val said.

"What about Jessica who does use magic?" Anna asked.

"What I heard from my pa is that this green moon affects only normal critters like elves, sprites, merfolk, centaurs, satyrs, and manticores." Holly Darlin' said.

"We fairies and the Vastaya get the benefits from the magical events." Rose said. "We were immune to all kinds of magic mishaps, except that we're allergic to body inflation or blueberrying spells."

"Cool." Abby said.

"Abby, Jessica, Anna it's time to go to the family reunion." Mindy called out.

"Coming! We have to go now, we will see you soon." Abby said.

"Okay, we'll do the ritual as well." Rose said.

Suddenly, the green moon rose in the sky. Some elves, satyrs, centaurs, and merfolk were transformed into animals while the fairies and the vastaya all over the world started the ritual. While the Lightfoot family was at the family reunion, they noticed the green moon.

"What is that?" Mindy asked.

"I'm not sure." Corey wondered.

"It's that moon thing Ros..." Abby said but before Abby could finish her sentence, Abby was transformed into a spotted hyena.

"Hello Rose, my sister..." Jessica was on the phone but then Jessica transformed into a red panda.

Rose and all of the fairies have started the animal ritual. They prepared the potion together but the animals started to swarm in the Crystal Castle. Little did they know, Keagan came out of the restroom and gasped at the sight of  her parents, sister, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles as animals.

"What in the vampire's melancholy is going on?" Keagan asked in fear as Branch swooped down and picked her up. "Hey put me down! You didn't answer my question!"

"We have to get you out of here, it's the green moon today!!" Branch said, as he put Keagan in the shade of an oak tree. "Stay here and don't come out until the ritual is done."

It took longer than expected and Keagan got impatient and got out of the oak tree's shade. Soon, she was confronted by a falcon. She realized the falcon was her sister Rachel.

"Rachel, please don't hurt me. It's your sister Keaga...." Keagan begged but she transformed into a wolf and howled. The wolf started attacking the falcon.
