My dear Co-writer, Dores, will explain what the main character is - 🫐
I've made a species that will be in this book. This species are the Acrode. The main character is an Acrode in this story.
Think an organic Gem, kinda like Steven, but instead of a gem you have a marking that looks kinda like a three darker skin color rings around a colored dot. This dot is the color of the gem the person is! Such common abilities every Acrode have are enhanced senses (you know your five senses right?) this includes a better gut feeling of their surroundings (this includes that icky feeling of being watched and those gut feelings that seemingly come out of nowhere and could have saved your life). They can summon a weapon! They can withstand stronger temperatures. They can use gem tech!
They have heightened healing, no this does not mean regeneration. They have a stronger skeletal system and immune system (aka thick skull and asymptomatic). They can navigate their surroundings easier. They cannot shapeshift unless their specific gem type allows them to!
That's all I have to say.
