I Love You

Chapter 5

My heart races as I wake up. I can't wait to g to school.

"Honey come down or you'll be late!" My mom calls to me from downstairs. Oh shoot my mom didn't do my laundry and I forgot my comb at the hospital. Oh well today isn't special.

As I run down stairs I fall, of course, and stub my toe on the end of the stair case.

"Ow!" I scream as pain bursts through my toe. I watch the clock tick until it reaches six forty-five.

"I have to go. Bye mom see you tonight." As I limp to the door I shove a piece of toast in my mouth.

I feel so great today. I don't know why but I know today when I see Sky pretty as always everything will be all right. As I ride on the bus, bouncing from pot holes, I think about what would happen if Sky and me... you know kiss or better. I would love to explore in love but I'm very shy to ask. During the fire I thought about kissing her but it felt like a bad moment for that.

I limp to school and see Nick as always waiting for me and his face drops when he sees me. Do I have something on my face or something because his face is just dull.

"Hi Nick ready for class?" I ask him to unfocus him from whatever he's staring at.

"Um yea sure but uh what happened to your hair and clothes and why are you limping?" I forgot about everything and feel embarrassed because I don't like when people see me like this. Immediately I rush into the bathroom and look in the mirror. I start to rush with tears. I'm so ugly and its unfair especially when I'm compared to Jannet. How can Nick even talk to me when I look like this. Suddenly I look up and the door flies open. It's Nick.

"What are you doing in the ladies bathroom?" I stare at him.

"Well I just hate it when your hurt and I hate to see you so down. And and I love you and want to protect you from what comes in your way. I just think about you all of the time and can't stop and when I'm with you my heart lights up." He smiles and can't look at me,like he's embarrassed.

"You really think that Nick?" I start to tingle and get closer to him. My heart pounding," because if that's true then I feel the same way and every moment of every day I just think of me and you together and..." I think of me and him kiss right here in the ladies bathroom. Suddenly he gets so close to me that I can feel his breaths. He picks me up and goes in for a kiss. His lips are warm and it feels so magical that I could kiss him forever. He puts me down and hugs me.

"Will you go out with me Skylin Rose Tinpel?" He starts to cry and he wipes off my tears that have already run down my face.

All I do is nod and he hugs me again and this time he lifts me up and carries me around the bathroom.

"Everyday for now on I'm going to tell you how much I love you and how much I would want to happen with me and you." He shakes his head to shake off the tears that are coming and only one reaction I do happens. I kiss him strongly and proud. He grabs me and lifts me in the air and we laugh. Soon we leave so no one thinks that he was in there and for the great of the day we sit together and smile and I keep that smile in my heart so I will,always remember it.
