I Love You

Chapter 4

So Sky had to live the weekend by herself because her mom went on a business trip and for her and Nick well they haven't talked.

My heart beats as I just think about him. His eyes are so blue and dreamy that I think of the blue ocean sky. I wish that we had school today because he is in most of my classes and I could just stare at him all day. His name was Nick, and I will never forget a name. I wonder if he would be at the park... well I'm bored anyways so I will just go out to see.

Oh no...Oh no... Oh no! He's here right in front of me drawing a sketch of a tree? Oh no a bird! Sky don't be shy go talk to him! Ok, I hate when I talk to myself.

"Um... hello Nick." My hands start to shake with nervousness and excitement. My spine shivers when I finish the sentence.

"Oh hey! Aren't you Sky or Skylin? Anyways d you want to sit, I'm just drawing a picture of this bird on a tree over there." His feet are so straight when he smiles and of course I hop right down next to him and watch his hand. It moves so rapidly and quickly to different spots on the page. I wish that I could draw, well I mean other than stick figures!

My eyes start to drift away and I shut my eyes. I want to sleep for a lifetime but sadly I can't. Then I suddenly fall asleep right next to Nick who still draws that bird.

·DREAM·

I walk through the forest and animals start to surround me. Birds, fish, deer, but I don't think they want to hurt me. They just want some food. Suddenly a basket of food hangs from a tree, and I saw it. It was like magic! I start to feed them and they walk or fly away.

I follow them to this waterfall. It's the most prettiest and most blue water I have ever seen. Steam is rising from the water and I let loose. I fall into the water and it splashes all over, but suddenly my dream turns into a nightmare. The clouds start to appear and the wind gets strong. What's happening right now, everything is going wrong! Wake up from this nightmare... wake up! Wake up! Wait what's happening? Oh my God I think I'm going to wake up!

I wake up. In the hospital? What am I doing here and why am I not at the park. Wait in the chair next to me is Nick. He's sleeping and he does it well. Why is he here and not doing better things. What day is it? Why is his school bag next go him and what is all around me? He wakes up and adjusts his eyes then looks around the room and sets his eyes on mine.

"Your finally awake. You've been sleeping for a day or two and missed some school." His voice is so shaking when he speaks.

"What happened?" I stare at him and realize a scare right above his left eye. It looks bloody and around it is black and blue starting to fade.

"Well when you fell asleep someone was having g a campfire and it got all over and burned the tree we were under so I had to pick you up and carry you to safety and that's how I got this stupid scare. You are very light through!" He talks like we are brother and sister and doesn't care what he says!

I know what love feels like. It feels amazing and I want to have Nick in my life forever. He's so sweet but I just wish that we were dating. Love is so amazing and I wouldn't want to have it without Nick. I want us to be so good of friends that he actually asks me out or we are so close he acts like a brother. I hope that he is the first love and hopefully my only love. He is so cute and WAIT what am I saying he's just a guy in ny school that saved me from dying!
