It was unusual for Steven to be late for class but his communication class was hard to locate in the Language building. He was late for 5 minutes and Professor Mick was irritated that he was late for class and made him sit in the very back of the room. The class was asked to argue about a selective topic. Steven was with 10 other people in a team. He started it off. I firmly believe that baseball is a better sport than basketball. There is no time limit in baseball. You can win a game via a great hit, a great home run, or an error. Unlike basketball where basically all the stadiums look the same, baseball stadiums are uniqely designed.

After he finished his sentence, it was his opposing team Ryan's turn to speak. Ryan was 17 years old and he skipped his senior year of high school because he was able to pass an exam. Scoring a 1250 on the SAT exam, he was very smart and knowlegeble. So, you think baseball is good. Wrong. Evidence one- In baseball, you could be screwed by the wind that could blow a baseball into the path of an outfielder for an out when the roof is open. Unlike in Basketball where wind is not a factor. Basketball also have a component of fast paced game, something you do not see in baseball. Thus, basketball is better than baseball.

The class had back and forth reasonings but in the end, the professor was more convinced by the baseball arguments and Steven's team won the debate. After class, Ryan invited Steven to have dinner with him off campus at The Bird Pizza. Ryan drove Steven 1 mile to the restaurant and parked his F250 at a parking spot. The Bird Pizza exterior was green and there was a giant pizza statue on the roof of the building. They exited the vehicle. Chef William puts a different spin on pizza. For one, toppings are very expensive. Steven ordered the lobster pizza with truffles. Ryan ordered a duck pizza with a rich smoky sauce. Steven's pizza melted in his mouth as it was that great. Ryan's pizza was amazing. The boys had one more dish to try. Ryan had ordered the molten lava cake with a raspberry filling instead of the typical chocolate. Both agreed that it was very delicious. The raspberry jam inside was perfectly flowing out like lava.

After dinner, Ryan drove Steven back to his dorm. Ryan said, next time we will try the best sandwich restaurant in this city. Steven said, "sounds good" before he said his goodbye and left his car. Steven entered his room and started to write his paper. There is no historical event greater than The Alamo. Let me show you why that is the case. First of, there is the matter of sacrifice. The soliders knew they were going to die as they were confined in the Alamo. There was no chance of escape. It was an impossible victory. The Mexican troops attacked all day, but the Tejanos refused to leave. Their lives was lost so a rallying cry would be unleashed. Sam Houston led the troops to victory over Santa Anna in the war. One more thing that is true about the Alamo battle is that life got complicated. If you ran from this situation, you would not be labeled as brave. By staying there, they were called as courageous.

Steven decided to continue the rest of the paper the next day. He did not notice a student outside his room window once again snapping photos of his essay. The student was Charles Ray and he copied the words exactly and he reprinted it on a typewriter. Steven went to sleep. The next day would be crazier than he would ever expect.
