Working at the Castle is hard but having a Lady also take an interest in you makes it harder. Welcome to Esme's life. She hasn't been working at the Castle long, to be exact.. 1 week she's been staying there. She unfortunately hasn't made many friends as they don't like the way the lady swoons over her. It's not like she ever asked for it or did something to make the Countess like her. Ever since she's been here the lady has always been sweet and kind to her and made sure she wasn't in harms way. Esme finds it weird as she came from an abusive family. Her mother and father hated her since the day she was born causing her to carry a lot of trauma and pain with her. Her scars on her wrist remind her of that unfortunately. She easily took up the opportunity to become a maid at Castle Dimitrescu to get away from the havoc of her life. What she didn't know though was how her life was going to turn upside down.
