These lines just penetrated deep inside my ears, finally waking me up from a deep sleep.
As I regain consciousness slowly, I felt a crucial pain on my forehead my arms were aching and it was not late for me to realize I just woke upon hearing my mom's voice and I was lying on the hospital bed. I cant feel my legs down, it seemed like my lower half was just slashed out from my body.
"Are you alright?" Ayan said as he saw me gaining back my consciousness, "you been lying unconscious since the last two days" he said as he rushed towards me and stood near me.
On his reaction my mother also came rushing to me and sat beside me, "Shona how are you now?" she said while examining me and my wounds, "you know I was so much worried?" she said as the tears rolled down her eyes. " What, you two were up to? Meera, you still consider your father's accident as a planned murder?" she yelled at me while asking the last question.
The pitch of her voice was rising on every question. "mom..." I said as I want her to stop her questions trail, while saying so I tied to raise myself from the bed but it ended as a failed attempt because of the excruciating pain that I experienced in my failed attempt.

"Don't even try to do that" Rudra said as he entered the room with a pack of medicines. "you suffered a major fracture in your ribs" he explained to me my conditions and further continued to speak as he started arranging the medicines on the side table placed next to me." Further, you had six stitches on your forehead. Besides, you also suffered from other minor injuries and fractures." He completed his explanation and moved behind my bed to raise it.
"Aunty, I think," Rudra said as he adjusted the height of my bed. he did this considering to hurt me as minimum as possible. " you should go home and take some rest," he continued and this gave me an idea, that mom and Ayan were next to me in all these two days. "Mom is waiting for you, " Rudra along with completing his statement also adjusted the bed.
"is this height fine? are you okay now?" he asked me as came near me and adjusted pillow and blanket, all this while I was busy looking at Ayan, as I knew he also, might have been injured in the accident. Besides, I also wanted to ask him about the mission and the main culprit and who was the man with that ruby bracelet?
"Are you fine?" Rudra repeated his question this time even louder as he noticed me staring at Ayan, I was so busy in my thoughts that I ignored his previous questions," yes...." I replied as I realized that Rudra and mom both were noticing me staring at Ayan.
"Were you running away with him?" Rudra questioned me while staring at Ayan as if he was accepting him to reply to him. Ayan didn't bother to respond to anything, I can see he was worried about me, I can feel that he wanted to say something to me in person but because of mom and Rudra, he can't.
