Brut just look down nodding his head like an obedient servant. He knew no one can save Eliza now because he was well aware of the fact that if his master wants something then it should be in front of his eyes in a snap of finger.Brut left his master's presence with a heavy heart and a mind filled with conflicting emotions. Eliza, was in grave danger. As he walked through the dimly lit corridors of the mansion, his thoughts raced.
He knew the consequences of failure. His master was not one to be crossed, and his desires were commands that brooked no disobedience. Yet, Brut couldn't bear the thought of Eliza being dragged into this sinister world.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eliza was sitting near the window of her room. Her face was pale and eyes didn't had any emotions in them. It was raining heavily.
She likes it when it rains hard. Closing her eyes she Let the rain wash away all the pain .
She didn't opened her eyes when she felt some movements around her.''I like the storms. They let me know that even the sky screams sometimes.''
Kia uttered in a soft voice sitting in front of her best friend whose eyes were still closed.
Eliza remained still, her face turned towards the window, the rhythmic patter of raindrops merging with the silence that enveloped her. Kia's words hung in the air, their meaning sinking in slowly through the haze of Eliza's thoughts.
Moments passed before Eliza finally opened her eyes, revealing a mix of weariness and resignation. She turned to look at Kia, her best friend since childhood, whose presence brought a flicker of warmth to the cold room.
"I like the storms too," Eliza murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "They make me feel... less alone."
Kia nodded, understanding Eliza's unspoken words. They had always shared a bond that transcended mere friendship, a connection forged through years of laughter, tears, and unspoken understanding.
"I'm worried about you, Eliza," Kia admitted softly, reaching out to gently squeeze Eliza's hand. "You've been distant lately. Is there something you want to talk about?"
Eliza hesitated, her gaze dropping momentarily before meeting Kia's eyes once more. "It's... complicated," she confessed, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "Things... things have changed."
Kia nodded again, her expression one of unwavering support. "I'm here for you, no matter what," she reassured Eliza. "You know that, right?"
Eliza managed a faint smile, touched by Kia's steadfast loyalty. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice trembling slightly. "I... I think I need to get away from here, Kia. It's not safe anymore."
Kia's brow furrowed with concern, but she nodded in understanding. "Then let's go," she said firmly, rising to her feet and offering Eliza a reassuring hand. "We'll figure it out together."
