AUTHOR'S POV

The door of the room opened and there came a lady with a tray in her hands which had a bottle of wine bottle and a glass. She was wearing a night silk midi which reached her thighs. Her pale skin glowing in the dark room.

The lady entered the room with a grace that spoke of confidence and elegance. Her silk nightdress shimmered faintly in the dim light, its soft fabric clinging delicately to her form. Her hair cascaded in waves around her shoulders, adding to the allure of her presence.

Setting the tray down on a nearby table, she poured a generous amount of wine into the glass, the deep crimson liquid catching the light as it swirled gently. The aroma of berries and oak filled the air, adding a subtle richness to the atmosphere.

"Here," she said softly, her voice a velvety whisper that echoed in the quiet room. "I thought you might enjoy a glass."

Her eyes, a shade of dark hazel, met him with an unspoken invitation, a hint of warmth and understanding that seemed to bridge the gap between them. She gestured towards the glass, offering it to him with a small, reassuring smile.

He took the glass, his fingers brushing briefly against hers, the contact sending a tingle down his spine. As he lifted the glass to his lips, he couldn't help but notice how her presence had transformed the room, infusing it with a sense of intimacy and possibility.

"Thank you," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper as he savored the wine's complex flavors. He watched her through the rim of the glass, his gaze lingering on her features - the gentle curve of her lips, the faint freckles dusting her cheeks, the way her eyes sparkled with a depth that mirrored his own.

She nodded slightly, her own glass poised delicately in her hand as she leaned against the table. "You looked like you could use a moment to unwind," she offered, her tone soothing yet filled with a quiet curiosity.

He nodded in agreement, grateful for the chance to relax in her presence. They sat together in comfortable silence, the only sound the soft rustle of fabric and the occasional sip of wine. In that moment, it felt as though the world outside had faded away, leaving only the two of them to share this quiet, private sanctuary.

As they continued to sip their wine, the tension of the day slowly melted away, replaced by a growing sense of connection and camaraderie. He found himself drawn to her effortless charm and the way she seemed to understand him without the need for words.

"Tell me," she began softly, breaking the silence with a gentle curiosity, "what brings you here tonight?"

He considered her question for a moment, his thoughts drifting back to the reasons that had led him to this place. With a sigh, he set his glass down on the table, meeting her gaze with a sense of vulnerability he hadn't expected to share.

"I needed a break," a break from her thoughts that corrupted his mind. He admitted quietly, his voice tinged with honesty.

She nodded in understanding, her expression sympathetic yet encouraging. "Sometimes, a moment of reprieve is all we need to gather our thoughts," she offered, her words resonating with a wisdom that seemed beyond her years.
