The morning

It is 4:30 am and here I am, sitting carrying the worst mood possible.

Loud musics crashed the hall as I woke up crying. No one wants to be woken from their deep sleep with loud noises like this.

Kokonoi! I gritted my teeth as I walked out.

There he was, with his slick black hair all free and messy, with his usual hoodies. As I stared at him with my dead eyes, he looked at me and smirked. "Good morning, Y/n."

I nodded and left the place to the kitchen. Kokonoi is my brother's Co-worker. Well, technically, the right front of his gang. He lives nearby and every morning when my brother, Taiju leaves to pray at church, he comes over to "guard" the house.

He loves coming over and making me annoyed. But I can't really do much, Taiju will kill me if I yell.

I looked at the clock as I lied on my bed, the music playing on the background keeping me awake.

"How I wanna sleep..." I mumbled as I yawned.

Passing two hours just by doing random chores, I got ready and waited for Taiju. He comes by 7 after morning mass at church.

He is very religious, that is all.

My slow mind was on alert when I heard his bike roar in front of the apartment. I immediately rushed around, tiding up everything and checking everything, just to be sure.

"Don't get beaten up today!" Kokonoi warned sarcastically and left to meet my brother.

"Yo!" I heard his high yet husky voice call out.

"Is she awake?" I heard a low and rough voice ask.

"Yeah!"

"Right! Did she do anything?"

"Oh! Stop, she is alright."

I sighed as I motioned myself to continue my chores.

"I am going to school." I said as I ate my breakfast.

"You still have to eat it. Don't be in a hurry."

His glare was enough to make me sit back in my chair.

"Woah! It was close! I can't believe how my intestines crumble when he is around."

I looked at the sky as I thought, "Would he be kinder to me if I was his real sister?"

...

I waited outside a small messy house. I was around the corner so no one notices me.

"Where the hell is he! It is already 8:15!"

"Sorry! I am here," I heard a tall, slender guy with a bruised up body walk towards me. My best friend, Beomgyu.
