A bit of truth

They sat on the couch, snuggled together. "So you want to start a serious relationship? You know my answer, I always liked you." He also wanted to say that he loved her, really loved her, but he didn't want to scare her off, not yet. And at the same time, it was too early, thus far. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him on his lips. "Yes, I would love to date you. I like you, Johnny." And kissed him again. He looked greedy at her and pushed her against him. She loved that, she loved the way he kissed her. Like she was everything and this was their last kiss ever. Before she kissed him again, her hands went through his hair. She enjoyed it when her long slender fingers went through his soft brown hair. It was very sleek and her hands went smooth through it. Then she kissed him and their tongue started combat. His hand went to her hip and let it there. His lips lowered to her neck. He kissed it, sucked it and licked it. He breathed her smell in, her lovely scent.

The door opened and closed, but the pair didn't hear it. They were too distracted by each other. So they couldn't hear Billy coming in. The poor fifteen years old boy was too stunned when he saw his mother and his parents' best friend making out. No child would want to see their parent like this. "The fuck mom, what?" The voice of her son made Helena almost jump. She normally didn't like it when he cursed but now she ignored that. Johnny also stopped what he was doing. He didn't know what to do or what to say. "Darling, hi." That's all that she could say for now, it began to be awkward. She stood up and said: "This is Johnny." "No shit, I know him for, like, fifteen years. But what the fuck are you doing?" Billy sneered. "We are dating." So, that was out. "Okay, so? Does father knows it?" He walked away without waiting for an answer. Helena sighed. It was difficult to handle the puberty brain of a boy.

That day Helena also said it to her daughter. She didn't want to lock her out, and also didn't want to hide it from her. Nell was cool about it as always, and she was even happy. She always liked Johnny and was delighted for her mother. Helena also knew who she would take to the Oceans 8 premiere, namely Johnny. They would look nice together at the premiere. Maybe life would be better from now on. Since she had her children, they all were healthy, loved her job and found love again, why not? She could enjoy her life again. The only thing that bothered her was still Tim.

Since Helena's children knew they were dating, Johnny thought that Tim also has to know it, since he was his best friend and he was dating his ex. So the next day he went to him. He never could know that Tim already knew it. How could he know that?

"Johnny, what are you doing here? It's so long ago when I saw you." The trick was, you have to say it immediately, thought Johnny. He didn't understand why Helena acted like it was a big deal. "I date Helena." First Tim's face didn't show any emotion and then he looked a bit angry, but Johnny couldn't figure out what emotion it was. Tim said: "As your friend, I want to warn you, Helena has a flirty character and loves to flirt. The whole reason that we split is not that I cheated on her, it was otherwise. But we wanted to tell the other version to the press because otherwise, everyone would hate her." At first Johnny was in shock whit his words. He never heard this, nor from him or Helena. But then he knew that Helena was loyal. "Oh? Is that true? I never knew that." Tim walked to Johnny and placed one hand on his shoulder. "We never wanted to say, but now I say this for you."  Johnny responded: "I am going to think about what you just said. "  Without listening to Tim anymore, he went away. This was ridiculous. But at the same time, it sounded fair. But who cares if it was true? People flirt, cheat and have relationships. He didn't care.
