The door had opened. As I rushed to get up, I went to kick it open. I ran out of the door, thinking I would be in the hall with my bunker just on the other end but it was total darkness. The door shut behind me, as I wandered into the darkness, I saw it's eyes again. This time they were red. Red like the blood that coursed through my veins. It was silent. All I could hear was my heart thumping. All I could see was it's red eyes looking at me. All I could feel was the coldness all around me in this dark, empty void. I didn't want to move, but I didn't want to stay here any longer.I slowly, carefully, and quietly lifted my foot and moved it back. One by one I slowly walked backwards towards the door when I saw it's eyes get closer. I started to panic and walked backwards even faster, again it's eyes moved closer. I turned around to run when I felt it grab my throat. It's eyes, red like blood, as close to my face as it could be. As I trembled, struggling to catch my breath, I tried to move my hands up to my neck but my right arm fell and it hurt like hell. I tried to use my left arm but it was no use. As I struggled, I saw my life flash before my eyes, I managed to grasp one more breath, as I accepted defeat and death, it let me go. I fell to the ground, gasping for air as if I were drowning, I put my left hand on my throat to rub and soothe it from the pain. When my breathing finally calmed I was all alone, in the hallway. The mysterious bunker is gone and my bunk door is right behind me. I slowly got up to walk through my door, when I felt something. It was the thing, standing right behind me. As I swallowed a loud gulp, I managed to blurt out "What do you want from me?" What it said, ran shivers down my spine. I walked into my room, closing the door behind me. I quickly got some wrap and a metal rod to hold my arm in place making a cast for it. I then wrapped it around my neck and tied it to keep it up. I walked towards the chair in the middle of the room to sit down. I opened a bottle of water using my teeth and drank some water. I gobbled down another granola bar and threw the wrapper on the floor. I didn't feel like getting up to go lie down in bed so I just fell asleep on the chair. There's no clocks or windows down in the bunker so I have no idea how long I slept for but when I woke up, I was in the mysterious bunker again.
