The Shorter Version of My Story

Day 295; It's been almost ten months since I got here, Cuiaba, Brazil, 3476 and we still haven't found a way to get me home. Of course, I managed to convince my captors to let me live among them. For nine months we have been looking for my parents and Ace's sister. Nine months ago I found my brother who told us about the hostages in the silver creek territory.

Yesterday they gave us not a threat but a promise to kill them if I don't go with Kaiden to their base. Why do they want me? I don't know but maybe they wouldn't want me if I wasn't dating the Golden mist's leader which happens to be Kaiden.

I'm currently making my way through the black forest Kaiden by my side. Zayara, Ace, and the troupe are following at a distance ready for an attack. Elias is leading us to the base. I hear a twig snap and I look around, I can't see much and the thick canopy isn't helping...

I hear a faint grunt and turn to see Kaiden holding some on up.

"Silver Creek," he says throwing the body on the ground, "I expected them to send supervisors but at least well-trained ones, what do they think I am? I haven't even used an element"

"Is that annoyance I hear?" I turned back to him, eyebrow raised, "You should be happy they didn't send their best."

Shooting me a death stare he says, " I can take them any day sweetheart" switching to a smirk he says, " Or~ do you doubt me?"

"Me? I could never~" I say jokingly and keep walking behind Elias... I look around, "Elias?!"

"He's gone, again..." I grab my hair and start sinking to the floor, he can't be gone... I just found him... Kaiden pulls me from my thoughts and takes a protective stance around me. He grabs my biceps and pulls me up.

"Let's go." we start ushering forward and we start to see a faint light, a few more steps and we are in a gray clearing, it takes me a second to get accustomed to the light and I see five men in black armor and then I see my brother, the man in front is holding a knife to his throat. Cliche, it's always a knife or a gun, you'd think they would think of something more creative. I roll my eyes and see Elias wink at me and see the man tighten his grip. I turn and glare at the-teen?

"So you actually came! Welcome love~" the boy bows without letting go of Elias.

"Love? Who's the poor victim?" I say fighting a sneer.

"Mmmm interesting choice of words Linda," seriously what's with the pet names? Does he even know my name? "How bout you come with me and I'll free your people"

Kaiden storms forward but I hold him back, " How bout you give me my people and I stay over here" giving him a phony smile I step in front of Kaiden and extend a hand, motioning so he knows I want what's mine.

"Aww~ I don't like that, I don't get much do I?"

"How about this, you give me my people and I don't rip yours to shreds?" I'm only bluffing, their leader may be an ass but they have families too.

"Them?" he motions to the people around him, "They're replaceable."

Strut forward swaying my hips, and I rip his arm away from my brother, as I do he grabs my hand, "Rule number one; Don't show that you care for others, you'd think that after ten months you would be able to learn that you can't stop me and I know how to get my way. You broke rule number one ages ago, now I have your family~" rip my hand from his grip and I throw a punch for his nose, feel a crack as my knuckles make contact and his blood splatters on the ground.

"You don't know how happy it makes me see you bleed after 9 months of your torcher" I feel a sharp pain in my right cheek, he smacked me? The fuck? Now it's on.
