My life's Purpose

  It has been three days since the day I woke up. I'm still at the hospital, they're keeping me in for check ups. Luckily I will be able to leave in two days. The girl was discharged yesterday. Elaine, Aspen, and me decided that she would be staying with us until she found a place to stay. So she's currently at the house with everyone else. Right now I'm watching the tv, with many thoughts running around my head. Specifically...'what can I do to help the girl' 'what can I do to make her happy.'

I hear a sudden bang. I look over to see Aspen at the door. "Hello my dear brother!!" He says holding up a bag full of snacks. "Low it down Aspen, your gonna get kicked out." I say sighing, but glad he's in his usual mood. "Oops, right sorry" he says rubbing his neck before closing the door. "So, is it just you?" I say While grabbing the bag. "Yep, we'll not for long, the girls are coming in a few." He grabs a Twix and eats it. I hum in response before grabbing the pack of sour patch. We eat in comfortable silence before he speaks up again. "So how are you doing?" He asks taking the last bite of his candy. "Good, my body hurts much more less, and I can speak better tho my throat still itches." I sigh thinking of the thought that I'm gonna live with a itchy throat. "Well I'm sure it's gonna get better soon" he says spinning on the stool. He then begins talking about the things going on at school. We laugh and have a great time.

After 10 mins we hear the door opening revealing Elaine and the girl. What shocks me is the sight of the girl wearing such pretty clothes. It suits her. I get out my thoughts when I feel a sudden pair of arms wrapping around my neck. "Hey hun!! I'm so glad your better!!" I look over to see Elaine. I Pat her head and whisper "Now, don't say hun, you know how jealous big guy over there can get." She giggles and let's go. I was about to say something until she gasped. "I totally forgot! Aspen come with me!! I need to get something!" She says dragging him out of the room not letting him say a word again. The door closes and there is just silence. "That was something." I say turning my attention to the girl. She hums in response and sits down on stool beside me. We begin watching the tv.

  I look at the girl and stare and remember I never got her name- "hey, I have a question for you.." I say sorta whispering. She turns around and tilts her head. "What's up?" I breathe in "what's your name..." I say staring at her. She freezes up and stares at me blankly. It stays silent for a few seconds before she starts laughing. Her laugh is so pretty... "I forgot I never told you" I chuckle "yeah I forgot to tell you mines too." She nods and stops laughing. I hold out my hand "My name is Archer..." she stares at me before smiling and holding my hand. "Lilith" we shake hands and look at each other for a few seconds before letting go.

"Oh! Forgot to mention, you look very beautiful in that outfit, it suits you." I say smiling and giving her a thumbs up. Her eyes widen and puts her hands on her lap. Fidgeting her fingers. "Thank you...Elaine picked it out.." I chuckle. "So, how have you been doing, you seem in a better state." I lean back into the bed. "It is totally better than before...I'm still feeling like I don't belong here..I feel like I'm bothering you.." she says putting her head down.

I sigh and lean In to pat her head. "Stop thinking that your bothering us. We're happy and glad your with us. And trust me it's going to take a lot of time for you to get back up on your feet. Just know that no matter what, I'm gonna be here for you. And so will Elaine and Aspen. You may have been alone before..but I can promise you, you'll never feel loneliness again. Im never gonna leave. Im gonna make sure you find what makes you happy." I say while brushing my hand Through her hair. She was about to say something until the door suddenly opened. "Lilith!! We have to go school is starting soon!!" We turn around to see Elaine and Aspen. They look at my hand and raise their eyebrows. "Sorry did we interrupt something.." Aspen says stepping back. "No it's alright" I say taking off my hand. Lilith looks up and walks away. "Bye Archer!!" "Bye dude!!" Elaine and Aspen say walking back outside to the hallways while waving their hands. "Bye guys!!" I say yelling out.

"Hey archer..." I hear Lilith say looking at me. "Yeah?.." she walks up to me and hugs me. My body freezes due to the sudden action. "Thank you..thank you so much.." I feel sudden wet drops noticing she's crying. I hug her and rub her back. "Anytime." We stay like that until We hear Elaine yell. "One day they're gonna get kicked out for yelling." I say nodding my head before letting go. She chuckles and wipes away her tears. "Bye Archer" she says giving me a smile. "Bye Lilith" I say with a smile back.

Tbh I have no idea where this story is going I only know the end.😦😰
