"Quickly Rio!" An exasperated voice cried, "He's coming!" It was my brother, Alvaro, he ran towards me,
"What-"
I had barely finished packing when the door was broken down, a sharp kick burst through the door, followed by gunshots, and then a man a thought I would never see again entered.
Alvaro tackled me to the hard ground, "LOOK OUT!" He screamed.
The man laughed, "Calm down, I ain't here for you. I'm here to collect a debt, unless you want me to kill you."
"¿Qué? ¡No entiendo!" I scream as the hitman enters, his footsteps push away broken wood and glass. "We paid you back! Leave us alone!"
Alvaro pulled me up, put pushed me behind him.
He laughed, "Je ne suis pas là pour ça! I am here for Joaquín!"
"Joaquín? Oh dios... What has he done now?" Alvaro muttered.
"Killed off the boss' pet, Lenny." He said clearly hearing him. He grabbed a knife from his pocket and pointed it at us, "You Hernandez kind think you are so sneaky, and maybe you are! But Joaquín was never like you Alvaro, he's far more sloppy, Comme un idiot."
"He left so much proof he's lucky we got to him first, and not the police. Unfortunately for him, the police will never find what's left of him." He slurred. He started to walk closer, and Alvaro pulled me back.
"Detente, no te acerques!" Alvaro yelled, grabbing a baseball bat from behind us.
The man pulled out his gun and aimed it directly at me, "Do you want this to end in blood?" He asked coldly.
He walked closer, Alvaro couldn't pull me back any further, my back pressed to the wall, he clenched me tightly. He bared a look of horror.
My throat was too hot, I could barely fathom any form of words, I was shaking horribly.
"Shoot me, leave him out of this!"
"NO!" I screamed out, tears started to stream down my face, "Why would Joaquín do this to us?" I could barely talk properly between my sobs.
"Where is he anyway?" The man said.
"I hope you don't find him, basura de la calle." Alvaro said coldly.
"Big mistake calling me that, imbécile sans esprit."
And then he shot.
