Chad and Jeremy's Philharmagic

Chapter 1

In the middle of the night, Chad lay asleep in his bed.

Jeremy slyly snuck into the apartment and walked quietly into Chad's bedroom.

He knocked softly on the wall three times. 

"Chad?" Jeremy whispered in between knocks.

At first, Chad didn't wake up. 

So Jeremy tried again.

He knocked three more times and said "Chad?" in between the knocks.

This time, Chad did wake up and he screamed in fear and jumped out of bed.

He put on his glasses and saw his friend's face clearly.

"Oh, Jeremy! It's you! You frightened me!" Chad panted.

"I'm sorry, Chad the lad" said Jeremy.

"What are you doing in my bedroom?" said Chad.

"I knocked on your front door and you didn't answer" said Jeremy.

"How did you even get in?" Chad snapped.

Jeremy showed his credit card and said "I learned how from Calvin".

"Blimey, those kids" Chad sighed with a smile.

"Where's Meg?" said Jeremy.

"Working the night shift" answered Chad rubbing his eyes.

"She's a hard worker, she is" said Jeremy.

"Yeah. Now may I go back to sleep?" said Chad.

He took off his glasses and laid back down.

"Not yet. You still don't know why I came in the first place" said Jeremy.

"Well... alright" said Chad putting his glasses back on.

He sat up in bed and let Jeremy talk.

"Now. I came to tell you some great news" said Jeremy sitting on Chad's bed.

"You couldn't wait until morning?" said Chad.

"No. I'm too excited" said Jeremy.

"What's the news?" said Chad.

"We've been selected to go live in the Philharmagic Theater!" said Jeremy showing an envelope.

"Really? The two of us?" said Chad.

"Yes, the two of us. We're gonna perform with Mickey Mouse's orchestra" said Jeremy.

"Jeremy, that's fantastic! But that's all the more reason to get a good night's sleep. When is it anyway?" said Chad.

"Tomorrow" 

"There you are. Now can I get some sleep?" said Chad.

"Yes you can" said Jeremy.

"Thank you" Chad yawned.

He took off his glasses and laid back down.

"Good night, Chad" said Jeremy as he left.

"Good night, Jeremy" said Chad as he fell asleep.
