Chad and Jeremy's Philharmagic

Chapter 9

Chad and Jeremy took in the underwater scenery they were now in.

They were stripped from their clothes and now wearing bathing suits and flippers with snorkels and masks.

"Blimey! Where did these swimming costumes come from?" said Chad.

"We're breathing underwater, and that's your first question?" said Jeremy.

"Double blimey" said Chad.

"I'd say we're breathing because we're using snorkels, but they're not sticking out. We're too deep under water" said Jeremy.

"Jeremy, everything we're going through right now is so confusing" said Chad.

He felt his face and he couldn't find his glasses.

"Hey. Where are my glasses?" said Chad.

"I dunno. That broom probably splashed them away. I'm sorry, Chad." said Jeremy.

"No, it's okay, Jeremy. At least I can see through this mask" said Chad.

"Okay, but I'm here for you" said Jeremy.

The boys looked around the cave they were in and they saw all sorts of artifacts and treasures.

"Triple blimey" said Chad in awe. 

"Hey. Maybe we'll find Mickey's hat amongst these treasures. And then we might find your glasses with it" said Jeremy.

Just then, a blue and yellow fish swam by and saw the two men.

"Cool" the fish said.

And then a red-haired green-tailed mermaid swam over and sang.

Look at this stuff, isn't it neat

Wouldn't you think my collection's complete

Wouldn't you think I'm the girl

The girl who has everything

I got gadgets and gizmos of plenty

I got whosits and whatsits galore

You want thingamabobs? I get twenty

But who cares? No big deal

I want more

I wanna be where the people are 

I wanna see wanna see 'em dancing 

Walking around on those... what do you call 'em?

Oh. Feet

As Ariel, the mermaid, sang, she added Mickey's hat and Chad's glasses to her collection.

"That mermaid has the hat" said Jeremy. 

"And my glasses" said Chad.

"Come on, let's go get them" said Jeremy.

Chad was able to get his glasses back, but when he was able to see Ariel, he couldn't take his eyes off her and neither could Jeremy.

Ariel finished her song.

When's it my turn, wouldn't I love

Love to explore that shore up above

Watch and you'll see, someday I'll be 

Part of your world

Jeremy leaned in to kiss Ariel, but he kissed an electric eel by mistake.

"Jeremy! Are you alright?" said Chad.

"I think so. How do I look?" said Jeremy.

"You look fine, you look fine. Now come on. That mermaid still has the hat" said Chad.

Chad and Jeremy followed Ariel up to the surface and the sea morphed into African grasslands in front of a gigantic sun.
