Rewrite the stars.

It was a cozy Saturday evening. The once blue sky was now decorated with pretty colors of red, pink and hues of purple, splashed and mangled together. The busy streets of Seoul, an utter chaos of human interactions, loud noises of passing vehicles and buildings adorned with artificial lights. A beautiful picture saturated with life.

Two males lay in the comfort of their bed, naked bodies pressed together after an intense session of making love. They lay in serenity, staring at each other in complete fondness and adoration. Their fingers entangled together in an unbreakable grip as they vow to themselves to not let go of each other. Their eyes confessing their undying love, a love that has managed to withhold, to stand strong against the opposing forces, namely the society. A love so pure and selfless. A love to live forever.

Taehyung brought his fingers and stroked his lover's soft hairs, earning a sigh of content from the younger boy. His love. His life. His Jungkook.

"Do you have to leave so soon?" the younger asked, his angelic voice resonating through the silence of their bedroom, a flock of butterflies filling Taehyung's being. It was the same case always. Jungkook's voice, his giggles, squeaks, screams and delightful moans seem to have a very strong impact upon the older male. Taehyung could be having the worst day possible and a simple "Taehyungie" from Jungkook could calm his soul.

"Love you very well know the reason. The soon the better don't ya think?" he replied, stroking his boyfriends soft cheeks, the pad of his thumb brushing the other's ruby lips occasionally. Jungkook sighed. He very well knew the reason. Though Taehyung's departure was not something that he looked forward to, it held a significant importance to their relationship.

" I know, but you'd be gone for a whole month and i cant bear being alone, without you beside me," the younger whined, pouting adorably.

Taehyung smiled, cooing at his baby's adorable nature. Jungkook was clingy by nature, always in need of his hyung's attention, his praises and simply his looks of love and fondness directed towards him.

" Baby i'm doing what i'm doing to beside you, not now, not tomorrow but for always. I need to completely free myself from this meaningless relationship, a loveless marriage, a mental suffocation for both me and Jisoo.

It's just a week baby, in a week i'd be free from this marriage legally and then i'll make myself yours to claim. Is that not what you want baby?" he asked, lips twitching into a subtle smile as he looked into the depths of the younger's bambi eyes that held a myriad stars and galaxies, shimmering oh so beautifully. His universe.

Taehyung and Jungkook had loved each other from their school days. It was a time where homosexuality was much prevalent in the society. But acceptance and acknowledgement came with maturity and the society was not matured or ready to accept reality. It was still conservative, still brimmed to the entirety with orthodox principles and ancient traditions. Yes it did incorporate western ideologies into it, but the topic of homosexuality and rights of homosexuals was a debatable topic.

The star crossed lovers stood firm against the forces that thwarted their unity. They did not give a damn about what the society expected from them. If the union of two men in love disgusted and seemed fallacious, immoral and flawed, then that was not something for them to fret about. They were born to live, not exist as per the rules of the constantly evolving civilization. They get to write their destiny. If it was not meant to be, they'd gladly rewrite their stars, together as one.

But how could you rewrite the stars when it was the society that decides for you? How could you think about starting a new phase of life when the people who brought you into this world stood against you, supporting the society and it's cruel principles? And most importantly how would you heal the fault your in stars?
