I woke up to the blasting sound of my alarm clock. I rolled over and hit snoozed, as the clock read 6:00 A.M. I slumped up in my bed and sighed extremely heavily. I stood up and slipped a sweater over my cold shoulders. As I opened my door I could hear my dumb twin brother, Drew screaming and running through the house. I hate his boxing shit every damn weekend. No wonder I have no friends, it's because I have no free time in my sorry ass life. I shook off my thoughts when my stomach growled from hunger. I walked down the stairs, almost slipping on a pair of boxing shorts. I picked them up and handed them to my mom who was packing snacks for the weekend ahead. I smiled at her as I stepped into the kitchen and grabbed the cerial box.

I ate my cerial quickly and headed back upstairs to get ready. I reached into my closet and grabbed a black tight crop top with strings that go around my waist. I wore my most comfortable jeans. my hair was already in loose braids from the night before (cover) which I didn't bother taking out.

I walked into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. I was supposed to get up an hour earlier, but it's fine. I looked into the mirror one lt time, my blonde hair going past my shoulders. I ran downstairs and chugged the rest of Drews energy drink. I slid my Jordans on, while checking my phone to see if I had any new notifications. None, like always.

My dad started to honk the horn on the car so I grabbed my bag and ran out the door into the back seat with my Drew who was listening to "encouraging music". I rolled my eyes and leaned my head on the window.
" What took you so long, Blake?!" My mom yelled quietly. My parents were giving a huge speach to "hype him up" as my dad says. If you ask me, I don't think music and a speech will change if he wins or not. Even if he looses I can't talk shit to him about it near my parents.
