It was around 7:30, when I was laying in the hospital bed when the doctor walked in. Mom and Dad jerked their heads up to her as Drew placed his hand in mine lightly. I looked at him with a smile before both of us turned our heads to face the doctor. She just stood there with her clipboard scanning it with her finger.

"Hi everyone, I'm Doctor Hart." She spoke following with a sympathetic smile.

"Did you find anything?" my dad asked.

"Yes, the good news is the cancer isn't back." she started. My parents both let out a sigh followed by smiles. Drew had a releived look on his face and I was happy but hesitant about it being the good news.

"And the bad news?" I mumbled, breaking the silence. I felt a strong sqeeze in my hand as I sent a look at Drew.

"Well you don't have cancer, but you have a kind of aftermath sickness. So you'll feel sick and drained for about a week." Compared to the possibilities a small one-week-sickness, isn't that bad. My Mom and Dad still had smiles on their faces.

"We'll keep you here overnight just to make sure you're all good and then your all set!" She said before a smile formed on her face. The loud door shut and my dad walked over to the sink. The water started running and he walked over and set a cup of water on the bedside table. Me and Drew talked for a bit before my mom chimed in.

"K Drew we're gunna go. Dad will stay here with you, Blake." I smailed and hugged them before they left. I was tired, but I wanted to tell Jayla. I opened my phone with a smile on my face, I was happy to have one potentall friend. Me and my Dad said goodnight before I went to text her.

I woke up to the sound of my dad packing up our stuff in a bag. He smiled at me, which I took as a 'leaving' gesture. I stretched my arms out with a yawn. Standing up I grabbed a change of clothes my dad had brought from the house yesterday(picture at top). I splashed cold water on my face, as an attempt to wake me up more. That idea was a fail, one of the side effects, I guess. I walked out of the bathroom and set my bag by the door. I slipped on my shoes while we waited for the discharge papers.
