Isla immediately woke up when she felt the coldness of the room she was in.
"Fuck, that body was a lightweight!" Isla snapped back to reality.
[You seem to enjoy yourself immersed in this game, Host.] The system said in a monotone voice. But despite the monotone voice of the system, Isla heard how the system had this sarcastic tone in it.
It wasn't pleasant to hear, and she wanted to bash it's head if she could see it.
"Oh, shut it System. You just interrupted my alone time with Jam." Isla said in an annoyed voice.
Isla then stood up and stretched her hands up in the air and looked around. She was still inside the barren room.
[I was just saying the truth. Anyway, it isn't bad to enjoy games once in a while... or unless you completely fell with that man?] The monotone voice held even more teasing tone that annoyed Isla more and more.
Blood rushing to her face, she punched the walls of the room. "Ow! These filthy white walls are tough!" Isla complained as she held her knuckles that are hurting.
[Why did you even punched the walls? It's not my face or any part of my body.] The system said.
Isla glared at the ceiling and plopped herself on the soft bed behind her.
"If you had a physical body, I would've beaten you up." Isla said in a bored tone while she inserted a finger in her ear.
[... here are your points.]
Life points: 500
Mission Rank: A
Side Quest: Completed
Character Points: 1000
"Wait, wait, wait! Why the hell is my mission rank only A?! I gave it my all during my time there in that punk ass world!" Isla complained as she sat straight on the bed.
[You performed poorly in that world. You almost died twice in that world. Life is important. Once you died, there will be no turning back. In real life also, you won't be able to come back alive if you died in the game.] The system explained. Isla knitted her brows together.
"Isn't it your stupid side quest that told me to rescue Jam in the first place?!" She remembered correctly.
[Yes, but aside from your method, there were other ways to avoid contact with the robbers such as calling for assistance with other customers. And also, that world does not require violence and deaths. That is why your mission rank is only A grade.] The system calmly explained the whole situation.
"You do know that I like working alone, don't you? And who the fuck doesn't use violence when you are always surrounded by stupidly cunning fake half sister!" Isla said.
[Unfortunately, that information is not recorded in my data base.]
"Where the fuck are you?" Isla asked the system.
[I am here. What do you mean by 'where I am?'] The system replied.
"Come out you dirty liar! I'm going to beat the shit out of you!" Isla shouted as loud as she can.
[Sorry, Host. Unfortunately I don't have a physical body to do what you want.]
"Worse comes to worse, when this game ends I am going to find your creator and beat him instead." Isla said begrudgingly. Her face became black with ominous aura seeping out of her.
[...] Creator, I hope for your safety when the game ends.
[Host, are you ready for your next journey?] The system asked Isla. The system could only turn onto another topic as it was awkward to say anything about its creator. One wrong word and it might be banned forever—no, it might even be deleted for good!
