Yena massacred the third building all by herself, leaving about thirty-plus corpses behind. The hem of her skirt was covered in blood and her sleeveless shirt was drenched in sweat. She was breathing just fine but she was covered in sweat.
Yena remembered Jam, the time when he rescued her. Blood was pouring out of his wound. She loathed someone close to her who is harmed because of her. And this time, it seems history wanted to repeat itself.
Making her way into the last building, Yena fought her way in. She was steadily losing her stamina as she continued her journey. With a twist of her wrist, she swiftly slitted the throat of the last gangster guarding the door.
From the inside, Yena could hear muffled screams and a familiar voice.
"Hahaha, Riley it seems your nanny isn't gonna rescue you anytime soon!"
As expected, the voice came from Haley. Yena smirked, wouldn't it be surprising for Haley if she made a grand entrance? Making up her mind, Yena kicked the door hard. The door plopped on the floor. Yena saw Riley tied up, his mouth had a duck tape, unabling him to speak. While there were the five classmates of her and Haley. They all looked at the door and saw the bloodied Yena. Yena was quite cunning, she hid the bloodied dagger behind her back.
The surprised faces of the six classmates of hers made Yena smirk. 'Ah, how satisfying.'
Like a queen, Yena elegantly walked inside and sat on the vacant chair by the wall. She then crossed her legs and showed them the dagger and played with it. She had a smile on her face but contrasting it with her bloodied face and bloodied skirt, she looked like a devil that ascended from hell itself. Riley teared up while looking at Yena. She was here! Yena came to his rescue!
"Ha..." Yena sighed and looked at the six classmates like they were some kind of insects, waiting to be smashed by her foot.
"B-bold of you to walk in like a queen, you bitch!" Haley spat. Yena side-glanced at Haley. She did not bother to answer Haley, she just averted her eyes to Riley.
"You are the underboss of Rossi familia. Is it that hard to understand that you can't show weakness? Look at your sorry state, Riley." Yena said in an emotionless voice.
Riley, who was initially happy that Yena had come for him, stopped in his tracks. His tears suddenly went back in his eyes. He couldn't believe of what Yena said to him.
Annoyed that they were ignored by Yena, one of the underlings of Haley shouted, "Oy you bastard! How dare you ignore us—"
He was cut off when Yena took out her gun and fired a shot at the underling. It was a headshot, and the underling fell on the ground, lifeless and still had this hatred plastered on his face. Yena calmly lowered her arm. She observed Riley who was shocked to the core and couldn't believe what had happened.
"Y-you... you just killed a person!" Haley shouted in horror.
Yena looked at her, with a bored look on her face.
"So? Look outside, honey. All of your guards are dead." Yena smirked.
Yena then stood up, walking towards the underlings and Haley. Haley was alarmed when Yena positioned her gun to point at Haley. So Haley grabbed one of her underling and used them as a meat shield. Smiling widely, Yena pulled the trigger. The underling who Haley was holding was shot in the chest, and blood poured out of his wound. Now there were only three more underlings in the room.
Yena readied her dagger and with a swift move, she closed the distance between her and the closest underling to her. Yena stabbed the underling in the chest. At the same time, she twisted the dagger while it was inside the underling's body so a hole would be made. The underling dropped to the ground, lifeless again.
