Part 1 - Chapter 4

I ran into the classroom and tried to mask my shocked face.

,, Hey Cioca, did something happen? Are you sick? You don't look so well.." said Ale Oprea.

,, Yeah dude, you look weird.." said Ungureanu.

,, No, I'm okay. Thanks for your concern though".

,, No problem..".

I knew what I had to do. I had to text Paul.

Cioca's inbox

C: Paul, something happened..
P: What?
C: I saw Amăriuței and Crețu kissing...
P: That bastard! I'll deal with him tomorrow at school.
C: Oh, why didn't you come to school today?
P: Why should I tell you? You ran from the bathroom yesterday, without even saying bye.

I think of an answer when two girls come and look at my phone.

,, Ooooh.. Cioca, who are you texting? Your boyfriend?~" said Roxi.
,, Your boyfriends, you mean? Amăriuței and Paul? I saw you stare at them..." replied Ili.
Great. Roxi and Ili are part of that book club that only reads gay stuff. Perfect, actually. As if it wasn't already perfect, Iarina and Nico show up too. ,, We finished it!". They pulled out a.. very interesting drawing with me, Paul and Amăriuței.

,, Sorry girls, I was playing Clash Royale, not texting."

,, Bummer..." they said disappointed.

Amăriuței enters the classroom, and then he comes by my desk.
,, Hey. Can we talk?"

,, Uh, sure.."

,, Please don't tell Paul about what.. you saw. Crețu was threatening me, so that is the only solution I had. And if Paul finds out that he threatens me, he's gonna kill him. Maybe literally, maybe not.".

,, Oh, sorry.. but I already told him."

,, Sh1t..let's hope he doesn't do something bad.".

After class

I look at my phone and I see like 5 million calls I couldn't answer because I was in class. I go to the bathroom. I felt some eyes on me, but chose to ignore it.

During call

,, Hey, what's the deal?"
,, I love you, Cioca."
,, W-what?"
,, I don't know why I took so long to tell you that, but now I know for sure. I love you."

Call ends

What? I think for a while, then I turn back and see 10 heads gathered around the door.
,,I knew it!" said Crista. ,,He has a boyfriend!"

,,I can't wait for the wedding!" says Ambra excitingly.

I feel motivation piling up in me and I just run across the girls and down the stairs.

,,Go get him king!" says Vero.

I run as fast as I can when I finally get there... Paul's house. I straighten my clothes a bit and ring on the door. A woman dressed nicely steps outside.
,,Hello.. is Paul home?" I ask shyly.
,,Yep! Are you one of his friends? I'm glad to meet you. I'm his mom. Me and Paul's father are going to a meeting, so you can hang out here while we're gone.".
,,Thank you so much ma'am!" I said and entered the house.
,,Snacks are in the fridge, have fun!".
,,Thank you ma'am!".

Before going upstairs, I explore his house a bit. It didn't look bad. I go to the bathroom, wash my face and go upstairs.

,,Hey Paul.. I came to visit.."
I stand in front of a door which says ,,Paul's bedroom - keep out" so I knock on the door.
,,Come in"
I do as he says and he's sitting on the bed, watching TV.
,,Hey.."
,,Uh.. hi Paul.."
,,What brings you here?"

I breathe in and out a few times.
,,Thank you for your confession"
,,Oh. So that's the reason why you're here. Well, that's true"

I don't move, waiting for Paul to tell me something.

,,Sit down already."
,,Okay.."

We stand looking at each other, in an awkward silence, until I finally break it.

,,So.. what now?"
,,I don't know.. well, now that I confessed, we should continue what we were doing in the bathroom yesterday."
,,Yeah, let's do that.''

Present time

C: ,,And that's how I met your daddy, kids."
Kids: ,,Now we want dada's story too!"
C: ,,Okay, okay..."
