CHAPTER 7

ALEXIA'S P.O.V.

I don't know what to say to them. What's the worst thing that has happened during my childhood. Well I still can't deal with what happened. The only person that i have ever told was Harper because she has been my best friend all of my life.

"Harper, what am I going to do? I don't want to tell anyone, but I don't want to lie to them either because they are my best friends," I said just letting the words flow out.

"Alexia, you trust me don't you?" she looked me straight in the eyes. I nodded my head as a yes. Of course I trust her. If I didn't, she wouldn't know about my secret. "Well because I know about it, would you like me to tell them?"

"Would you really do that for me Harper?" i asked her and she gave a nod.

"Yes i would Alex. You know that I would," she said to me reassuring me.

"But what.. what if they judge me because of it?" i asked getting scared. "They could suddenly not like me all because of this secret that i have kept from them for 5 years". I could feel myself beginning to shake.

"Alexia Hayes! If they hate you then they will have me to mess with. Alex. Don't worry. They aren't going to judge you, now come on. I'll tell them for you," Harper says pulling my arm softly.

"Ok. So you will tell them for me tho? I don't think I would be able to get a word out," I said to Harper and she gave me the nod of approval.

HARPER'S P.O.V.

"Okay guys. So Alexia would like me to tell you because it i actually really, really big. I'm the only person that she has told. So I don't want to hear any talking while I'm telling you, and if you say anything to my dear Lexia you had better watch out. Do you hear me?" I said harshly. I probably am sounding like a bitch but I don't want anyone to hurt Lexi. She is my best friend and has been for year.

"Yes!" everyone in the group said, wanting me to begin.

"Okay, so 5 years ago, Alexia was living with only her father, because her mother took her brother Geoff and left. So one night when Lexi was doing her homework, her father went out later and got drunk. Lexi had seen him drunk before but not as drunk as he had gotten.

"Lexi heard a loud banging noise coming from outside of her bedroom, so she opened her door and there was her father standing drunk as hell. She tried to close the door so her couldn't get in, but he was too strong for her and he forced his way in.

"She was so scared that she couldn't move. He started to take his clothes of infront of her, and she backed away, but he kept moving forward. He then began to undress her as much as she said no, he wouldn't listen. She started to scream and he smashed her head up against the wall.

"He raped her and she couldn't call anybody because he took her phone off her. This happened for about a week before he left and didn't come back. Lexi said that she couldn't trust anybody ever again other than me. That's why I am the only person that she has ever told other than my parents. Her mother and brother walked out on her and left her to her abusive father. Then her father left her all alone.

"So I asked my parents could they adopt her and they agreed naturally, as they couldn't leave my best friend out on the streets. They treeted her as there own child. That's why she lives with me. She has had no contact with her mother or Geoff for over 5 and a half months. Her father is always sending her threatening letters saying he will be back, and that she won't see the next day.

"Thats why I'm so protective of my Lexi. She is basically family. Her family has never been a funtional family. They have always had problems. So that's it," I say looking around the room at the different people.

Louis, Niall, Harry, Zayn, Ashton, Luke, Michael and Calum all have a shocked expression on there faces. Liam looks like he is about to kill somebody. Sidney, Jacinta, Ingrid, Faith, Becky, Cleo and Kasey all look they are about to break down crying. Alexia is in tears, sobbing uncontrollably.

I get up from me seat and rush straight over to where she is sitting and pull her into a hug. She is looking like she needs one of my Harper Hugs. She hugs me back and lets the tears fall.

"That asshole. He is going to die," I looked to see where the voice is coming from, and I notice that it was Niall. Niall of all people.

I look back down at Alexia to notice that she has calmed down a bit. Thats good because I think that i should take her up to my room.

"Hey Lexi, did you want to go up to my room? I'll get us chocolate, ice-cream and a bunch of movies?" she nodded as she started to get up off me.

"Can you get all the girls to come with us? I don't want them to think that we are leaving them out," she said sniffling.

"Of course they can Lex," I said getting up off the floor. "Hey girls, Lex and I are going to my room for ice-cream, chocolate and movies, did you want to come?"

"Of course! Cinta just said we should have a movie marathon," Becky said with a smile on her face.

"Guys I'm picking the first movie. I don't care what you all say. It's because of me we need to have this so I'm choosing," Alexia said standing her ground. This is why she is my bestfriend.

"Of course you can Lex. I'll be up in a minute I just need to talk to the boys warning them not to come up and annoy us ok?" I said and she nodded walking upstairs to my room.

I walked into the kitchen where all the boys were currently located. The first person I seen was Niall who was rummaging around in the fridge looking for food. I swear he never stops eating that boy.

"Ni. Do you ever stop eating?" I said laughing.

"Yesss!" He said with a touch of sass in his tone. "When I'm sleeping. Duhh". I couldn't help but laugh.

"Ok well guys we are having a movie night so can you please stay away. We want to cheer Lex up. Is it okay if you don't interrupt us?" I said questioning them.

"Of course it is Harp bear," Lou said to me sending a wink my way. Well what was that about?

"Thanks Lou bear! Now I just have to get some ice-cream and chocolate and I will be gone," I said as I was making my way over to the fridge.

As I got to the fridge, I looked over Niall's shoulder and seen exactly what I was looking for. Chocolate. I grabbed it and then went over to the freezer. I opened the door and found the cookies and cream ice-cream. Yumm! Niall looked at me like he was about to cry.

"Gotta go now boys. Text me if you need anything. Be good. Lili your in charge okay? Ok. Byee!" I said holding the ice-cream and chocolate whilst running up the stairs.

Well this is going to be an interesting night.
