It's evening. Ash was reading a book and Eiji was looking at him with admiration. Suddenly, Ash notices Eiji. Somewhat startled at first, yet continues reading for a second, then falls to the decision of interacting with his partner.
"Is there something on your mind?" says the blonde.
"I wouldn't say so! I was just looking at you actually... actually... Would you care to take a walk?" replies Eiji.
"Obviously!" he replies and awakes from his seat.
Ash walks to the bedroom of their lightly, yet warmly lit apartment, huge windows from which you can see the other building face-to-face of their tiny home, radiating with calmness. Their home isn't fancy. It's a small 1 bedroom apartment, in some somewhat shady street of New York. Not the safest but not dangerous. It's decent. It's home. Through the window you can see the rusty fire escape stairs. There's little intimacy, but that's America apparently. The only thing keeping the strangers from peeking is thin curtains which let you see the shadows from inside.
Ash is headed to the bedroom to get changed.
From inside the house, leaving the door half open. Leaving Eiji to see a slender body with silky hair up to the shoulders drop clothes onto the floor, left completely bare and making a way to the closet and picking up a pair of jeans and a white button-up. Leaving the strangers to see a shadow of a young male with a somewhat arched back and hair up to his shoulders pick up two items from the seemingly wall, presumably closet and attach them to his body. What the strangers cannot see is how soft his skin is. How kind his eyes are. How warm his grasp is. How beautiful he is. That's the one thing only Eiji could see. He isn't evil, he's heartbreaking-ly kind. Too kind for his own good.
Eiji can't see that in himself.
Ash can't see that in himself either.
Maybe they're perfect for each other, two souls to never see themselves yet see the beauty in one another.
