I arrived at the pizzeria and walked in to see Henry straighting out table cloths. It was dark in the pizzeria and outside since it's been raining for a few days.
"Hi Y/n! No Scott?" Henry asked.
"Nope, and I've been calling him too." I said.
"Weird.. He hasn't text me since Halloween." Henry said, "Hey Y/n could you wipe down the games in the arcade room? There's probably a lot of germs on them and I don't want anyone getting sick."
"Sure Henry!" I said and started walking down the hallway to the employee lounge.
I passed William's office and glanced in there but he wasn't there. I walked into the lounge and put my stuff in my locker then grabbed cleaning supplies and went to the arcade. The arcade was dark except for the neon lights that were on the games and the walls. I looked around and saw no one which meant I could sing without anyone listening. I put in my ear buds and started singing along to Olivia Rodrigo songs. Wiping down the games was surprisingly gross. It took a lot of wipes and some of the games were strangely sticky.
Once I was done with one of the games I turned around to go to the other one but my gaze was met with sharp teeth. I screamed and covered my mouth. I realized that the teeth belonged to William's Spring Bonnie mask that he must have left in the arcade for some reason on a stool in front of the game. Spring Bonnie didn't have the same welcoming face as the other animatronics have. The eye sockets are empty and the jaw is busted making the rabbit look like he's smiling. There were some loose wiring coming out of it and the paint was either chipping off or turning a gross green.
Something always looked familiar about Spring Bonnie. I looked at myself in the glass of the arcade game and my eyes landed on the weird zigzag scar. I dropped the container of wipes once I put the pieces together.... It's the same mask that, that man who I had a nightmare about.... William has the same voice as him.... The same height.... Same shirt.... Everything..... I couldn't believe I didn't put the pieces together sooner.... He's been stalking me... Assaulting me... And abusing me...
"Darling...?" Someone's hand grabbed my shoulder.
I screamed again and turned around to see William.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Y-Yeah..." I said.
Wait, how did he get in here? I never saw him come in at all! And the room was empty! I shook his hand off me and grabbed my cleaning supplies. I started walking out of the arcade.
"I was just leaving.." I said.
"Oh I see.... You found out didn't you?" William's tone was playful.
I turned around to see him wearing his Spring Bonnie head. I froze looking at him.
"That's right Y/n I was the one who was watching you in the shower. I was the one in the kitchen that day." William started walking closer and closer slowly, "I was the one in your nightmare... except it wasn't a nightmare. I was the one who snuck in Scott's house.... And..." William got in my face but I couldn't move from the fear, "I was the one who put that nasty scar there..."
William leaned into my neck and kissed my scar. I shivered and backed away.
"Your mine Y/n... you can't escape me..." His bright glowing eyes were staring directly into my soul.
The remaining lights in the arcade shut off leaving the room black. I could hear William's evil laughter echoing off the walls, and once it stopped the lights turned back on. I was shaking as I looked over to the only arcade game that was working... it was labeled "The Flipside"...
