How can we not remember God
His face the thorns on His brow
His hands the two nail scars in
His palms
His feet the one nail in both
His feet
How can you not remember
His cry "Forgive them for they don't know what they do "
Don't you hear Him crying
In pain He could've gotten off
The Cross if He
Wanted too but
He didn't cause He died
For us and He stayed
On the Cross out of love
For us
How can we not remember what God has done on the Cross
For each of us
How can you not remember how He was whipped and beaten
How He bled for us
He didn't have too
But I'm sure thankful
He did! Didn't you hear Him
Say "It Is Finished "
Remember Jesus's death on
the Cross He died for
our sins and stayed on the Cross
out of love for each of us
and on the third day He rose
from the Grave He Is Alive!
We can never truly thank
God for what He did on the Cross
unless Jesus Rigns in your Heart!
