‧͙⁺˚*・༓☾ Her eyes open softly but groggily. They take a couple of seconds to adjust to this light which surrounds her entire body. The light being strangely pale blue in colour and unlike anything she's ever seen before. This strange sense of calm rushes towards her and yet at the same time it softly flutters towards her. Her eyes look around to see that she is within a forest. While her memories can recall a dark forest, a forest that frightened her, she is unable to place this forest for it is far stranger than anything she's ever seen before. And somehow she cannot make sense of it.
Crystal notices upon further exploring these strange surroundings that the trees are odd. Not only are they bent and strangely grown, as if they have taken to become vines trailing up an invisible wall. She is lying down to the ground and sits up to explore far more of what is happening around her and that is when her eyes catch the sight of something or rather someone. Not far from where she sits upon the ground is a young man standing. He, too, is exploring his and their surroundings. The man perhaps a year or two or three older than her but still fairly young by the look of it.
The man has not yet noticed her, no matter how strange that is. Crystal then decides to stand up. The light seems to almost grow brighter now that she is standing. Her body feels weightless and like she can barley even feel it, and still at the same time, she can feel every single part of her body. Her fingers and her toes. Then as she begins to walk towards the man, his face turns to look at her. For a moment, both are stunned.
Simply starting into each other's eyes. The confusion which runs through both of them is true and neither know where they are or for what purpose. All they know is that where ever they are, they are there together. "Hello" Crystal says and therefore breaks the silence. Her voice had been hesitant and not certain. The silence had been quite wonderful for her and she did not know why she wanted to keep it. But, the longer they stared at each other, the more silly it felt without speaking. "Greetings" The young man speaks to her in an odd accent.
She would argue that she has not been anywhere in the world and that is the reason for why she finds his accent strange. "Who are you?" She asks. She studies him to notice that his clothing is unlike any that she has seen. At least this century. Because what he wears are clothing which she can only guess are around the Victorian era. He wears a dazed blue suit vest and black trousers and a long black coat and black gloves. His clothing does however appear to be brand new or perhaps been well cared for. Either way, it does appear strange to her.
Then again, so does everything else that she has been through. The man gives her a bright smile as he walks over to her. Slowly, he takes her hand, bends down to bow before her and kiss the back of her hand. "Forgive me for not introducing myself sooner. I am Lord Nicholas Morgan of the Noble House of IronIce. Might I ask for your name, my fair maiden?" He asks her and lets go of her hand. Her cheeks warm when he says that and her heart skips a beat for reason that she does not know.
She had been so taken with not only his strange eyes which take her captive each second she looks into them but also his choice of words and how he phrases his sentences, that she had barely taken to notice that he had called himself a Lord. "I'm Crystal" She says. Matching up to his introduction would be impossible so she does not try. His eyes appear to be silver, not quite grey and not quite white but silver. The odd colour of his eyes does lure her in. Crystal feels that her chest tightens when she is around him and she met him less than five minutes ago.
"It is the upmost pleasure to be your acquaintance, Lady Crystal" The man, Nicholas says as he puts his hand across his chest and once again bows before her. She raises an eyebrow but does not ask, she does ask something else though. "Where are we?" Crystal asks him. Once more, he looks around. The light of blue is still there with no source of where it might come from or where it ends or begins. "I fear that I do not know the answer of your question, I will do what I can to acquire it" Nicholas tells her.
She opens her mouth to speak when the sound of a voice can be heard. "Crystal!" It is Theo's voice. It is so far away from them but at the same time, it feels like it is so close. "Did you hear that?" She asks. Backing a bit, she turns around and goes in circles around herself to see if she can spot where Theo is. Because of the trees and the light, there is little that she can see. "I will do what I must and protect you from harm, I urge you to stay near me, My Lady" Nicholas says as he takes an step closer to her.
Crystal barley hears him because once again her name is being called by Theo. It is far closer now but still muffled and far away. All of this confuses her and she has no clue what to think nor what to do. When she turns back towards Nicholas, she notices that his eyes are staring at her with intense. The strange expression she cannot understand but she does not have time to because before anything else could happen, the darkness takes a hold on her before the light does. ☽༓・*˚⁺‧͙
